At the day of my daughter Dorita’s wedding her fiancé didn’t come, and she was completely depressed. I prayed to the Virgin of Zapopan to relieve my daughter’s pain so she wouldn’t suffer of the humiliation she went through. The Virgin took mercy upon her, and then we heard the wonderful news—Jose Antonio, the fiancé, had been hit by a truck and got in the hospital. I thank the Virgin of Zapopan for the wedding was canceled due to this accident and not because Jose dumped my daughter.

I was told by the doctor to stay in bed for few weeks. It was hurting so much to not be able to play with my grandchildren and to read them fairy-tales before they go to sleep every night. But then my grandchildren started to come to my bed so I could read them and we would travel together to the fantasy world. Even my illness went smoother with their love and care. I thank the Virgin of the Rosary.

My son was sick for a long time, and I was constantly praying to the Holy Virgin to heal him. She made the miracle, and now, when I see him running happily at the field with his kite, I feel so thankful for his healing. I dedicate this retablo to the Virgin of Zapopan as my gratitude.

I was very proud of my garden. But one day it was invaded by giant snails. I don’t know how they became so big. They began to eat my plants and especially most beautiful flowers. I didn’t know what to do until the Virgin of Guadalupe enlightened me to put a salt around my garden. It scared the snails off and they didn’t come back.

My working days can be tiresome and boring. But thanks to the Holy Heart my soul gets free at night. I fly among the stars touching the Moon with my fingertips and diving in the infinity. I feel myself so happy and alive.

My boyfriend was a sailor. I used to go to the sea cliff to see if his ship is coming back. One day I slipped and fell into the sea. I was stunned after the falling and went to the bottom of the sea. I was spluttering. Suddenly I saw mermaids. They took me and pulled to the surface. There I could breathe. It was Saint Barbara who sent me them for help. I thank her for this marvelous miracle.

My wife was very angry when I woke up late. She used to beat me with a rolling pin or pull the blanket off so I’d freeze and get up. But since my late grandfather left me a lot of money her character got softer. She doesn’t get angry anymore and doesn’t try to pull me out of the bed, so I can sleep as long as I want. I thank Saint Michael the Archangel.

We thank the Virgin of Guadalupe for meeting each other and for joining our life paths by an unforgettable wedding. Everybody whom we love and who love us were with us that day. And even a flock of doves flew in to celebrate our present and future happiness. That is a good omen.

My daughter is so small and light, that one windy day she opened her umbrella and was taken up in the air by a strong wind. I’m grateful to the Holy Child with the Ball for protecting her. She landed softly and didn’t get hurt, although she was floating very high.

The fishing was going worse and worse with every day. I couldn’t catch anything at all. I prayed the Archangel Raphael, and the incredible miracle happened on the next day. Two beautiful mermaids began to catch fish and put them in my boat until it was filled. From that day I’m like a magnet for fish and have no shortage in food. Thanks.

Our puppy is very naughty. One day he was trying to catch a butterfly, jumped from the window and fell from the second floor. We thank Saint Francis because he fell on señora Casilda and didn’t hurt himself. We dedicate this retablo for that miracle.
