He was furious, he grabbed his pistol to shoot my boyfriend. I implored Saint Raymond Nonnatus to not let a tragedy happen. The pistol misfired, and my boyfriend managed to escape. Afterwards, I spoke with my father, and he finally accepted our engagement. Now he doesn’t believe any rumors, and I thank for that with this ex-voto.

We didn’t want our little daughter to stay at home alone, so she came with us as well. It was difficult to walk against the wind. But thanks to Saint Raymond Nonnatus we managed to arrive to the hospital before my wife gave birth. And there our beautiful and healthy baby boy was born.

Juaquina P. was almost caught by her husband while chatting in private with a friend. Since her husband was very jealous, she hid the friend under the bed and entrusted herself to Saint Raymond. As it all ended well, she brings this retablo in gratitude.
