Thank you, Saint Charbel, for your help. When I was sleeping, I smelled some rag burning. I went to see what had happened. I came to my elder son Poncho’s bedroom. Turned out he feel asleep drunk with a lightened cigarette which put a mattress on fire. He couldn’t wake up because he was intoxicated with the smoke. Thank you, Saint Charbel, for letting me know.

Ramiro Treviño, the bass player of the rock band “The Night Cats”, had his hair on fire when the fireworks went on at the end of the concert. He thanks Saint Patrick because there were no grave consequences and he only lost his large mane.

There was a fire in our house on May 3. I was on the third floor, and I thank the Virgin of Guadalupe because me and my cats were saved by a fireman. Everyone was saved, and the fire was extinguished promptly.

Seferino Valderrama fell asleep with a cigarette. In his dream he saw the Virgin of Zapopan who told him “Wake up, my son! You’re in danger!” He woke up and saw that his blanket was on fire. He ran to the kitchen for water and extinguished the fire. He thanks for this amazing miracle with this retablo.

Francisco Marin liked to set things on fire. But one day he was caught after he had tried to burn a gas station. He thanks Saint Pancras because he was not only thrown in jail but also received treatment from his illness.

My stove had been possessed by the fire devils. Every time when I started cooking they tried to burn me causing big flames. I prayed to Saint Paschal Baylon to take these devils away from me. Following his advice I asked father Jose to bless my firewood. After that the devils left and didn’t return.
