I dedicate this retablo to Saint Francis as a testimony of my eternal gratitude for saving my bulls. There was an epidemic at the farms in our region, and miraculously my cattle was saved. I’ll be always grateful for that.

I was told by the doctor to stay in bed for few weeks. It was hurting so much to not be able to play with my grandchildren and to read them fairy-tales before they go to sleep every night. But then my grandchildren started to come to my bed so I could read them and we would travel together to the fantasy world. Even my illness went smoother with their love and care. I thank the Virgin of the Rosary.

My son was sick for a long time, and I was constantly praying to the Holy Virgin to heal him. She made the miracle, and now, when I see him running happily at the field with his kite, I feel so thankful for his healing. I dedicate this retablo to the Virgin of Zapopan as my gratitude.

Little Pedro Sanchez got in a cave and was attacked by vampires. He got very sick after that. He prayed to Saint Nicholas and got cured. He thanks for that.

I made a very delicious cake for my daughter Marcela’s commitment dinner. But unfortunately my younger children are very gluttonous, so they ate almost the entire cake. But luckily—and forgive me God!—my daughter’s fiancé got measles, which he caught from his little sister. The dinner was canceled. And I’m immensely grateful to the Virgin of San Juan because the parents of the fiancé are very stiff and haughty and I didn’t know how to deal with such an embarrassing situation.

My daughter Amalia was suffering of a love treason and fell ill. She was getting paler and thinner with every day, because she refused to eat. I was afraid she was dying and prayed to the Virgin of Zapopan for delivering my girl of this pain. And then, on April 2, my Amalia woke up full of life and started eating. I thank the Virgin.

He entrusted himself to the Lord of the Miracles so that the scorpion wouldn’t sting him and deteriorate his condition even more. Since the Lord made that miracle, Fernando offers this retablo.

My daughter Raquel loved when I was reading stories to her. She loved it so much, she learned to read by herself very soon. She was reading faster than my other children. When I got sick, she read to me, and it was wonderful. I thank the Virgin of Zapopan for such a clever and caring daughter.
