Gudelia Meneses had to go shopping. Since it was raining and she didn’t want to ruin her new shoes, she put her husband boots on. But they were so big, she slipped and fell in a puddle. She hit her coccyx so bad, she though she’d become paralyzed. She thanks the Virgin of the Rosary for her quick recovery from the back pain.

The devil pricked my head with his trident. It caused me a terrible pain. I couldn’t do anything, only sat quietly in semi-darkness suffering. I prayed to Saint Peter Martyr who had suffered the same way. The saint took pity upon me and my pain began to going away. I haven’t had a headache ever since. Thanks for that.

My fiancé and I, we love the dogs. We both had our own dogs, but they didn’t get along. When we decided to get married no one was going to leave his dog. But it was very difficult to keep them together. I prayed Saint Anthony for a solution. And miraculously the dogs became friends. Now they get along well and play with each other. We thank the saint.

My kitchen was filled with cockroaches. My cat was very lazy to catch them. I didn’t know how to get rid of them. Saint Paschal gave me an idea to bring all my farm animals to the kitchen—the pigs, the ducks, the chicken. They ate all the cockroaches saving my kitchen, although they dirtied it up a little.

When my husband Juan Jose died, I was sad and couldn’t find any consolation. We loved each other so much, and I couldn’t stand the thought of not seeing him again. I asked the Virgin to let me see him. And she gave me that. So now every Day of the Dead, I put the altar and bring the offerings, and then my husband appears for a few seconds. So I can keep his image in my memory and find strength to live on without him.

I married my beloved Chayito without knowing that she snores like a lion. Although I loved her, my marriage became a nightmare because I couldn’t sleep. I prayed to the Virgin of Zapopan so she’d help me to resolve my dilemma. And the Virgin miraculously made so my Chayito stopped snoring. I thank for that.

On a picnic, Laura followed some butterflies and went far away from her family. When she was picking dandelions she noticed that she got lost. Laura got scared and asked the Holy Spirit to help her to find her family. That moment, a light breeze came up and the dandelion seeds flew to the place where the Laura’s family was. They were also pretty scared. They thank for that miracle.

Ever since I was little, I was ugly. They always laughed at me and joked about me. But I didn’t develop any complex, and I always had a sense of humor. Thank to my sense of humor Francisco, one of the most handsome man in the town, fell in love with me. I thank Saint Anthony because we had a very beautiful wedding ceremony and all my friends got jealous.

I went to the town market to sell oranges. I got tired and decided to ride my donkey. But I had put a little bit of weight. We were going down the hill, and the donkey’s legs slid apart under my weight combined with the weight of the oranges. We slid down the hill. Thanks to the Virgin of Zapopan there were a lot of bushes on our way and they stopped our falling. We didn’t broke any bones, only got scared and got few bruises.

I love all kind of animals, but they always had problems among themselves. With a lot of patience and help of Saint Francis, I managed to make the animals live in harmony respecting each other. I thank for this miracle that made my house an earthly paradise.

We thank the Virgin of Zapopan for meeting, loving and marrying each other. We aren’t perfect, we have some flaws, but we learned to love each other as we are and to forgive small mistakes. We are very happy.

Angelina and Rosario Morales gives thanks to the Virgin of San Juan because she sent them the storm warning so they managed to gather all their animals in time. The animals didn’t get hurt like the neighbors’ animals, some of whom died in that storm.

The Melecio Martinez’ donkey got sick. Since they loved it very much and cared about the donkey, and also since there was no other way to carry milk to the town to sell it, they prayed to Saint Francis of Assisi who heard the prayers and made the miracle of curing the donkey. Now the donkey is strong and cheerful again.
