A strong wind, as it was sent to us by the demons, took my children, me and even our dog in the air and threw us far away. I thank the Virgin of Zapopan because we didn’t get hurt thanks to her divine protection.

Agustin M. enjoyed having affair with married women until one day, when he had to escape through a window, he broke his leg. In addition to that, he was totally naked and got arrested for obscenity. He promises Saint Augustine to mend his ways.

My wife became a real threat when she drove. Every time she got in the car I prayed the Virgin of Guadalupe so that she’d protect her and other people. However, June 23, 1967, she hit a jelly vendor. Thank to the Virgin he didn’t get hurt and my wife had only to pay for the jelly.

A flower pot fell on the Laura Rodriguez’ head because of two dogs fighting. Laura lost her memory and forgot her name and where she lived. Fortunately, one of her neighbors saw her wandering confusedly and took her home. Laura thanks the Virgin of the Rosary because she got her memory back, although sometimes she still has doubts about her name.

Gudelia Meneses had to go shopping. Since it was raining and she didn’t want to ruin her new shoes, she put her husband boots on. But they were so big, she slipped and fell in a puddle. During the Lupita’s piñata, my son was hit by a stick. His head was wounded, and he was bleeding. I was scared that he’d become an idiot, so I prayed to the Virgin of the Rosary. Thanks ti her my son had no bad consequences and recovered very quickly.

I went to the town market to sell oranges. I got tired and decided to ride my donkey. But I had put a little bit of weight. We were going down the hill, and the donkey’s legs slid apart under my weight combined with the weight of the oranges. We slid down the hill. Thanks to the Virgin of Zapopan there were a lot of bushes on our way and they stopped our falling. We didn’t broke any bones, only got scared and got few bruises.

Benjamin Camacho was riding on his bike with his baby when he was hit by a bus. The baby flew out his hands. He thanks the Holy Heart because miraculously the baby didn’t get hurt by falling on the ground. Benjamin didn’t get serious injuries either and got off with some bruises.

I climbed on the chair to get some spices. I lost my balance. I saw my baby sitting down on the floor. I prayed to the Virgin of San Juan and thanks to her I didn’t crush my baby nor the cat because I managed to spin myself in the air and fell near them.

I was hit by a bull during a bullfight. It left me wounded. I suffered so much, so I pray to Saint Michael the Archangel for healing me. Some time later I was recovered and went back to do what I enjoy the most—the world of the bullfighting. I give thanks.

Queretaro — Bernardo Flores

I put a ladder to fix a hole in the wall. The ladder tilted and pushed some pots. My children were down, right under them. I implored the Lord of Blue Eye, and miraculously the pots fell a few inches from the kids and didn’t hurt them. I thank for that miracle.

Mrs. Alisia thanks the Virgin of Guadalupe because her son Juanito is feeling well and his eye is all right. He played with the spin-top and hit himself in the left eye almost losing it.
