My son Gregorio was slightly crazy. He made himself wings from chicken feathers and jumped off the highest tree. I thank the Virgin of Zapopan for the miracle that he was able to flap his wings a little bit—enough to land without killing himself. Although he fell on a cactus and got hurt by the spines, he didn’t break his bones for which I infinitely thank.

A piledriver move was used against the wrestler El Colibri. His spine was injured. Since no medicine would help him, he implored Saint Pancras and recovered. He dedicates the present retablo as gratitude.

The jockey Alberto Chavez fell off his horse during a race, and another horse ran over him. He was in bad condition. He implored the Holy Child of Atocha and got completely recovered. He thanks for that.

Higinio Rojas was installing an antenna on the roof of his new house when he was struck by a lighting. He thanks the Virgin of Guadalupe for he wasn’t fried with it but got just few burns.

The tennis played Luis Romero thanks Saint John Bosco because the pain in his elbow he suffered for months has passed away. Now his serving is much better.

Rodolfo Ramirez was spying on a girl he liked when he was attacked from behind by a goat. He was seriously injured. He thanks Saint James with this retablo for his recovery.

I was enjoying a vacation at the beaches of India when after an earthquake came the tsunami. I prayed the Virgin of Guadalupe so she would save me from death. Although, I was swept and suffered some injuries, miraculously I came out alive. I offer this in memory.
