Rodrigo Alcantara, the most handsome bachelor in the area, proposed to me. He said that I had won his heart with my food. In fact, I’m very proud about my cooking skills so I gladly agreed to marry Rodrigo. I thanks Saint Anthony for the happy marriage.

After five years of engagement with Antonio I wanted to get married but he still didn’t make up his mind. All my friends were already married and had children. And I felt like an old maid. I give thanks to Saint Antony because when Jose Pacheco started to visit my home and began to send me flowers, Antonio reacted immediately and asked me to marry him. Our wedding was beautiful and now I’m very happy.

We thank Saint Anthony because he gave us enough for allowing us to live in love without any worries. We never lack food on our table, and we have a nice little house that shelters our great love. Also we have a beautiful family and many good friends. We couldn’t ask for more.

There were a lot of children at the door of the church on the day of the wedding of Felipe Montejo and Flor Ramos. This is a good sign which means the couple would have many babies. Felipe and Flor give thanks to Saint Anthony for his blessing.

Beatriz Garcia started to attend golf classes because she liked the instructor. She entrusted herself to Saint Anthony and with his help she was able to win instructor’s heart. She dedicates the retablo thanking for that.

The day of my wedding was the happiest day of my life. Thanks to Saint Anthony I married a good man, hard-working, handsome and romantic. When we came out of the church we got on his horse and went to his ranch. The children waved to us and ran along us. I give thanks for so much happiness.

Try as he might, Agustin Robledo couldn’t find a girlfriend. So he prayed to Saint Anthony of Padua, and now he thanks for sending him a girl. Although she’s all covered with tattoos and his family thinks she’s weirdo, Agustin is happy.

I, Armando del Fresno, thank my dear Saint Anthony of Padua and dedicate this retablo to him for giving me courage to decide to reveal to my friends and relatives that I am a nudist. They accepted me for who I am. Now we meet and have tremendous parties every week.

Blasa Jimenez thanks Saint Anthony because she met an old rich womanizer. Now she has the best dresses and jewelry in the town.

We thank Saint Anthony because we have got married after many difficulties. Our wedding was very beautiful, and the saint blessed our marriage.

Sandra Mendez suffered from overweight and felt so lonely. She prayed to Saint Anthony, and he sent her a boyfriend who likes the food as much as she does. Sandra thanks for that with this retablo.

I was being told that because I’m so fat I’d be an old maid forever. It saddened me, so I prayed to Saint Antony for a lover who’d love me for who I am. He fulfilled my wish, and now my Pepe makes me happy. He asked me for marriage with a serenade, and all my friends were envy. They always criticized me, but it was me who got married first.
