Federico Garcia was hit by a bus while riding a bike near by the church. Nothing happened with the bicycle, but Federico broke his leg. The doctor said that he probably would be limping for the rest of his life, because it was a very nasty fracture. But thanks to the Virgin of San Juan Federico got recovered and now walks without problem.

When I came out of my house, a robber tried to grab my bag. But my cats saw me being attacked by a man with a knife and jumped on him biting and scratching him. The robber got scared, dropped his knife and ran away. I thank the Virgin of San Juan because my cats are so brave and love me so much.

I’m an encyclopedia salesman. One day I stopped in a hotel in Celaya. When I went to sleep I heard some laughs and clearly saw the footprints appearing on the walls and the ceiling. I’m not a coward but I took the pillow and the blanket and went to sleep in the corridor. I thank the Holy Virgin for the ghosts didn’t follow me.

My angora cat was very beautiful and delicate. So I had to chase all the stray cats that surrounded her away from her with broom. I didn’t want her to have kittens with these dirty ugly creatures. I give thanks to the Virgin of San Juan because doña Leti, my neighbor, was given a very beautiful male cat, and my kitty had a lot of cute furry kittens with him.

I thank the Virgin of San Juan for the privilege of keeping my own little paradise in my garden. My flowers and my birds help me to relax from the everyday life problems and bring me beauty and harmony.

The Sandra Gonzalez’ cellar was filled with big, fat rats. Sandra had a cat, but he was fussy and good-for-nothing. She desperately prayed to the Virgin of San Juan for help. Three days later the rats miraculously disappeared without biting anyone.

A nagual kidnapped my little son right from the cradle. But thanks to the Virgin of Guadalupe the nagual didn’t carry him further than the cornfield. I came running and saw my baby who was sitting and playing with leaves. Also I saw the shadow of the nagual running away.

15 November 1950, Antonieta Lopez was on the verge of a nervous breakdown when, thanks to the Virgin of San Juan, her sister arrived from the capital. She took care of the house, the kids and the husband, and Antonieta could rest peacefully.

I thank the Virgin of San Juan for helping me when I was attacked and raped by the robbers. They didn’t kill me nor did they infect me with some bad mortal disease.

Our cupboard was invaded by rats. And our cat became so lazy that he didn’t catch them and slept all day long. I prayed a novena to the Virgin of San Juan because I was frightened that rats could bite us and eat all our food. The Virgin were kind enough and work a miracle. All rats disappeared exactly in the last day of my prayers. I thank for this.

Some tourists hit a poor donkey who had been lost and were wandering alone. But they thought it was the Hernandez brothers’ donkey. They took him to the vet and paid a compensation to the brothers. The brothers thank the Virgin of San Juan because now the donkey is feeling well and also they have bought another one with the compensation money. So now they have two donkeys to carry wood and fruits to town.

One of my goats fell down a mountain slope. I thank the Virgin of San Juan because I was able to save her and the goat only hurt one leg.

Teresa Mendoza had a fancy for her gardener. She always looked at him from her window and because of that she entrusted herself to the Virgin of San Juan. She thanks for keeping her away from this temptation because she is a married woman.
