With all my heart, I thank Saint Anthony the Great for working the miracle that my horse El Patro’s back legs have been cured. They were broken and wouldn’t heal. Now he’s feeling very well and runs with great agility at the ranch. My dear friend El Patro.

I spoiled my dog by letting it eat from the table. When I married a marvelous woman, I was afraid she wouldn’t let the animal to eat with us. But instead, I found out she herself had two educated pigs who also eat from the table. I thank the Virgin of San Juan for we are one very happy family.

Fernando Rivera had a fever and couldn’t go to the bathroom. So he made all his things in a pottie. Suddenly a scorpion got out of the pot and sat on the Fernando’s buttock. He prayed to the Lord of the Miracles so that the scorpion wouldn’t sting him in the ass because his condition could get worse. Since the Lord cured Fernando and delivered him from the scorpion, Fernando dedicates this retablo as gratitude.

I was diving when an octopus grabbed my leg with its tentacles and began to pull me to the bottom of the sea. Seeing my life in danger, I invoked the Virgin of Guadalupe, and she sent me a winged sea horse that rescued me and took me to the surface. I am sure it was a transformed angel, and I thank for that.

I was preparing a marvelous dinner for special guests when I noticed that my dog, who decided that he was a special guest, got at the table and served himself. I thank Saint Paschal Baylon for I managed to fix the dishes and pretend as nothing happened there. I had a success with my dinner, and everybody complimented me.

There was a fire in the circus. I thank the Virgin of Guadalupe because there was a horse tied to near me, so I rode it and escaped from the fire carrying my children. We went through the flames without burning ourselves. Nobody died in the fire, we just lost our materials, but the circus has an insurance which will cover it.

It was very hot, and the *** sisters went to the river to refresh. Then they noticed a pair of crocodiles approaching toward them. They were scared and implored Saint Quiteria. Thanks to her a young man who was spying on the sisters came to save them.

When I was going to the town to sell oranges, my donkey and I fell into a pit. I couldn’t move, and I thought I would die there, at the bottom of a dark pit. I began to pray the Virgin of Zapopan, and some time later a shepherd was walking by with his goats. He heard my screams and came to save us. I thank the Virgin because nor I, nor my donkey got hurt.

We were coming back after visiting the grand-mother Ramona who lives up in the mountains, and we ran into a skunk that scared my horse so she threw off me and my baby. I thank the Virgin of Zapopan because we didn’t fell on the rocks but on the ground and didn’t get hurt.
