The Day of the Dead, I decided to put an altar for my recently deceased wife. So I cooked her favorite dishes. That night, I heard some voice calling me. I went to the sitting-room and I saw, with astonishment, that it was my wife scolding me for bad cooking and oversalting the food. I thank Saint Charbel for I saw my angry and complaining wife only that night, since she was also unbearable when she was alive.

When Elisa and I were engaged, she was so jealous that on the day of the wedding, after the banquet, she was on edge and she died of indigestion. Three years later I decided to marry again. I met a nice beautiful girl, and we got married. After our honeymoon, when we were back, my first wife Elisa’s ghost began to appear in our bedroom. She was furious and stared at us with anger. I was frightened, I prayed the Virgin of Zapopan. Moreover, I took some holy water form the priest and sprinkled it over the house. It, probably, helped, and the Elisa’s soul rested in peace. I thank because now we can sleep at ease, without her accusatory glance.

After my wife died, I felt very consulted when she began to appear to me at the nights. But she talked a lot every time. She could chatter all night long. I was desperate that I couldn’t sleep. So I asked the Virgin of Guadalupe to rest my wife’s soul in peace. And the Virgin heard me. My wife doesn’t come to me anymore, and maybe she found someone to chatter in the heaven.

The Ana Maria Renteria’s husband was a very jealous man. He kept being jealous even in their old age. That bothered Ana Maria a lot. But the worst part was that he wouldn’t stop even after his death. He kept appearing and watching her. Ana Maria was scared and prayed to the Virgin of Zapopan for the miracle of calming down her husband. Then the ghost stopped appearing, and she thanks the Virgin for that.

I had a slight fever, and the night I had hallucinations with the ghosts of enormous mosquitos. They were looking at me reproachfully, because I had sprayed them with insecticide. They wanted to bite me. I prayed Saint Quiteria for help, and the next day I had no fever. However, I ordered mosquito nets to put on the windows because I didn’t want to have any more visits from the mosquitos ghosts.

One night my daughter and I went to visit my grandmother to bring her some marmalades. Suddenly the ghost of the drowned woman appeared from the lake. The legend says that she committed suicide for a betrayal of love, and she tries to drag people to the bottom of the lake, for revenge. I grabbed my crucifix and implored the Virgin of the Rosary so that she would cast the ghost out. The ghost got scared and disappeared. We thank to the Virgin.

My daughter Rosa and I went to a mass, and the soul of my girl’s godmother appeared to us. The ghost asked us to pray for her. We were scared and ran to the church, where I ordered two requiem masses to the priest. We also prayed a novena. I thank the Virgin of San Juan because my friend’s soul has rested in peace.

My grandmother’s ghost began to appear every night at the sewing machine. First I was scared, but then I understood that she came to help me with sewing. I had a lot of work to do and I was very tired. I thank the Virgin of Zapopan for this amazing miracle.
