The day of our wedding, we were very happy. We escape from the celebration in my aunt’s house and ran to our new house where we live ever since. I thank the Virgin of Zapopan because our love is getting bigger with every day, although we had little problems and quarrels but we resolve them and keep living together and loving each other.

We started spending our savings because the money I earned making cookies wasn’t enough. I prayed the Virgin of Zapopan, and thanks to her help my herbalist gave me herbal tea in leaves. I gave it to my husband every morning, and he has become very active. Now he has two jobs, and I thank the Virgin.

My husband Juan began walking at his sleep. I couldn’t sleep because I went after him and looked so that the dogs wouldn’t bite him because they growled and barked at him. My husband kept walking and even got to the railroad. I was scared that he might be hit by a train. I thank the Holy Child of Atocha because thanks to his miracle my husband doesn’t go outside anymore and walks around the bedroom.

At dawn I saw that he had climbed on the big tree and was ready to jump. Praying to the Virgin of Zapopan, I ran to save him. I thought my son would gonna die. But the Virgin worked a marvelous miracle. My son didn’t fall but glided down and landed without hurting himself.

I married the man whom I love on the sunny day when the air had a smell of happiness. Even the flock of doves flew over us when we came out the church making this day the most special and the most marvelous one. The one I will remember for ever. I thank Saint Anthony for my happiness.

When I was coming back from the market I saw two dogs cornered two cats in an alley. The dogs were barking and grunting ferociously. The poor cats had no way to run. I came quickly, grab the cats and ran away. The dogs went after us, but thanks to Saint Quiteria I was able to run into the church before we were attacked. With the saint’s help I saved the cats, and I dedicate her this retablo.

My son Ricardo Antonio was swinging his sister very hard. My nephew Juanito was playing ball with the dog and didn’t notice how he got on the swing’s way. The swing hit him in the head, and he lost conscience. I was scared that he might die and his mother would accuse me of that. I entrusted him to the Holy Child the Savior. Juanito recovered and the only thing he got was a lump on his forehead.

I was in my bed with a light fever. Suddenly I saw skeletons around me. They began to perform a complex choreography and asked me to join their absurd dance. I prayed the Virgin of Guadalupe so she would save me from dancing skeletons and would drive them away. I closed my eyes for a moment, and when I opened them turned out that the Virgin worked the miracle. I was in my bed feeling much better, and my illness was gone.
