We went fishing at dawn. Suddenly we heard laughs and music. Then we saw a boat on which a lot of skeletons were celebrating the Day of the Dead. They called us to join their party. We prayed the Virgin of Guadalupe, and thanks to her a strong wave took us away from them. We managed to come back home safe and sound.

I was very happy taking the sun at the beach when suddenly hundreds of crabs began to surround me. They were getting closer and closer to me. I thought they were going to attack me all together at once so I jumped away very scared. But then I noticed that it was my radio what was attracting them. It seemed they loved the music which was very beautiful by the way. I thank the Virgin for this miracle of saving me from being attacked and pinched by those melomaniac crabs.

In the last months, my daughter had horrible nightmares. She used to wake up frightened and crying. I was praying to the Virgin of Guadalupe so that she’d deliver my girl from those scary dreams. Few days after, my daughter stopped seeing them. Now she sleeps calmly and wakes up fresh and happy. I thank the Holy Virgin.

I thank the Virgin of Candelaria because without her help I wouldn’t have been able to convince this pig my husband to burn his dirty collection of photos of naked women which he had been hiding very well.

I dedicate this retablo to the Virgin of Guadalupe thanking for I’m a wrestling idol.

Lightning from Jalisco

Ricardo Garcia was suffering a lot from flatulence. It wouldn’t let him work, and there was no remedy from that problem. Then he implored Saint Jude, and it got better. He thanks for that with the retablo.

The teacher Ramona Rodrigues was assigned to a class in a school filled with rats and other pests. The children seemed to get used to it but she was completely frightened. She thanks the Virgin of San Juan for she was transferred in another school after all, and even the kids over there were smarter.

The boatman Joaquin Meneses makes a good living taking tourists to see the whales. He thanks Saint Peter for this great favor with the present retablo.

My son Luisito was kicked by the milkman’s donkey. The boy was in bad condition. I thank the Virgin of Zapopan for his recovery.

Everything looked normal in my dream until Saint Rita of Cascia appeared holding the largest bottle of whiskey I had even seen.

Naughty students stole my wedding cake on a dare. We thank Saint Anthony because we got our cake back although it was slightly smashed. It’s a very bad sign to have a wedding party without a cake.

Roberto G. wallowed in drugs. One day he was so depressed he tried to hang himself on a tree. But the branch broke off. Roberto considered it a divine sign. He thanks Saint Jude Thaddeus for his recovery.
