Virgin of Zapopan

Tuesday, November 3, Pedro Martinez was hit by a truck with sheep on board when he was coming back home with his mother Luz after gathering woods. His condition was bad. His mother thanks the Holy Virgin of Zapopan for the miracle that her son didn’t die and now is better.

Whenever Rafael Martinez had a gout attack, he yelled at his wife throwing everything she brought him. Doña Mirta prayed to the Virgin for healing her husband. The Virgin heard her prayers, and don Rafael got better. They thank for that.

I thank the Virgin of Zapopan because my dog Casilda accepted stray kittens that came to my garden. The dog even licks them and let them climb on her, so I could give them milk and pet these poor abandoned animals.

I thank the Virgin of Zapopan, because I inherited the carousel from my grandfather, at which he worked all his life. All my childish fantasies were about that carousel. I rode my favorite horse and imagined [...] Now I can quite my dull job and dedicate myself to the carousel. I look at the children who ride horses similar to those I used to ride, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to make them happy.

I give thanks to the Virgin of Zapopan for letting me arrive to my 29 years staying a virgin and overcoming the temptations of the flesh.

Gregorio Morales went to visit his girlfriend and met the Death who was riding her gaunt steed. Gregorio entrusted himself to the Virgin of Zapopan for not being taken by the Death, because he was so young and hadn’t experienced many things in his life. The Virgin made him invisible for the Death’s eyes. The Death passed by without noticing Gregorio. He thanks for that with this retablo.

My kids were attacked by dogs on their way to the school. The animals jumped on them, and my kids entrusted themselves to the Virgin of Zapopan, to whom we always pray. The dogs only took sandwiches from the bags and didn’t bite the kids. We thank the Virgin for that.

I thank the Virgin of Zapopan for the friend request that Jaime sent me. I asked for it with all my faith, and now we are friends on Facebook.

The Virgin sent me a dream in which I was playing with a giant dolphin and felt so happy. After that dream I decided to study marine biology because I understood that it’s my vocation. Now I’m very happy with the sea animals. I thank the Virgin of Zapopan.

When we moved to the house that we inherited from the aunt Eulalia, we found out that there was a ghost living there. It roamed all over the house crying. At first we were scared, but then we were annoyed with constant crying. We prayed to the Virgin of Zapopan, and the ghost’s soul rested in peace pretty soon and left us alone.

A truck with pigs crashed in another truck right in front of our house. The truck doors opened, and all the pigs ran away. The truck drivers managed to catch every pig except one. One pregnant pig was hiding in our house. We thank the Virgin of Zapopan for we have four pigs now.

Fausto Ceballos died on July 23, 1961. His wife prayed to the Virgin of Zapopan for not taking her husband away from her. And during the all-night vigil, Fausto suddenly came back to life. The wife thanks the Virgin for her husband wasn’t buried alive and for her mother-in-law didn’t die out of shock.
