I spoiled my dog by letting it eat from the table. When I married a marvelous woman, I was afraid she wouldn’t let the animal to eat with us. But instead, I found out she herself had two educated pigs who also eat from the table. I thank the Virgin of San Juan for we are one very happy family.

I was preparing a marvelous dinner for special guests when I noticed that my dog, who decided that he was a special guest, got at the table and served himself. I thank Saint Paschal Baylon for I managed to fix the dishes and pretend as nothing happened there. I had a success with my dinner, and everybody complimented me.

I climbed a chair to get some canned food, but I lost my balance and was about to fell right on the newborn puppies of my dog. But by an astonishing miracle made by the Virgin of San Juan I felt some hands moved me in the air, and I fell near the basket with the puppies. I thank the Holy Virgin because I’m so fat, I would’ve definitely smashed those poor animals.

One day I was walking my dog Spike, when some angry dogs scared him. I couldn’t hold him, he broke his leash, ran away and got lost. I was desperately looking for him for weeks, searching in all the neighborhoods of the city but with no luck. Then I entrusted myself to Saint Anthony the Great, and he made the miracle—I found my Spike safe and sound. I’m infinitely thankful for that.

It hadn’t rained for few years, and our lands were dry. We and our goats had to eat nopal cactuses and prickly pears, and the dogs fed themselves with lizards and snakes. The Virgin of Guadalupe finally listened to our prayers, and this year abundant rains have come to us. The land is blooming, and we have a lot of vegetables and corn. We thank for this abundance.

Carolina Robledo, faithful to Saint Charbel, brings this retablo as a testimony of gratitude for seeing her friend Frida very happy with her pets.

My doggy and I were admiring the view from the top when the edge of the cliff went down. We fell down. Suddenly I realized that I’m flying like a bird. I got a couple of wings on my back. I looked at my dog, it also got little wings. We landed softly near my grandfather’s house which was right under the cliff. I thank the Holy Virgin for this incredible miracle, which I don’t talk about to not pass for crazy.

My sons are very naughty boys. One day they got into the Jose Piña’s rancho to steal some fruits. They even brought a ladder. However, they didn’t know that Jose had bought police guard dogs. The dogs chased the boys up the tree and didn’t let them go down. I thank the Virgin of Zapopan because Jose Piña saved them and the dogs didn’t bite them.

My son Bartolo and I were attacked by some dogs on the Romero street. I was afraid they were going to bite my boy and implored the Virgin of Zapopan. Then my son threw his ham sandwich he was eating. The dogs immediately forgot about us and ran to the sandwich. They ate it and then ran away. I thank for we came out this situation safely.
