I went to the town to collect some money in order to pay to the workers from my rancho. I was followed by some suspicious evil-looking men. I entrusted myself to the Virgin of Zapopan and she made my horse run like a lighting. It ran so fast, we left those men behind. They were probably bandits. I thank for such a wonderful miracle and dedicate this retablo.

It occurred to my wife to fulfill her childhood dream of becoming a circus artist. She got on our old horse, put a feather in her hair and started doing some tricks. She got all the animals scared and even the horse felt itself humiliated. I thank the Virgin of Guadalupe for bringing my wife back to reason so she forgot about this. Now she is alright <. . .> because we are expecting our first baby (?).

After the wedding ceremony my fiancé and I ran to the beach. There we took off our shoes and celebrated the beginning of our life together. Then we took a horse and came back to the party. All the old ladies looked at us with reproach but we didn’t care bakes nothing could darken our illimitable happiness.

My horse got out of control and broke into a gallop. It wouldn’t stop, and I thought the horse would kill me. Thanks to the Virgin of Zapopan the Manuel Martinez’ son managed to stop it and save me. I thank with this retablo.

The night of February 27, 1963, Casimiro Mendoza and his buddy Austerberto went to have few drinks in the tavern of don Venanzio. On their way back to the ranch they ran into the Death riding on horseback. With great fear, they implored the Virgin of San Juan, and she protected them. The Death passed by without approaching to them.

I was robbed by a bandit who took my money and my horse and left me wounded in the field. I felt life leaving me through my wound. I entrusted myself to the Saint Michael Archangel, and then the Padilla brothers, who were passing by looking for the lost livestock, found me. They took me to the doctor. I thank for that miracle of Saint Michael that saved my life.

One full moon night, Antonio Gonzalez was coming back home and met two werewolves. They were apparently hungry and started to chase him. Antonio thanks Saint Quiteria for his horse ran faster than the wind and with the saint’s protection he managed to escape from these damned creatures.

My daughter went to ride her pony at the ranch. She met a horned viper. The pony was so scared, it got on its hind legs and my daughter fell of right to the viper. Thanks to the Virgin of Guadalupe’s miracle the viper didn’t bite her. Only looked at her and then went away. We thank the Virgin for saving our daughter from the deadly poison.

Devils came from the hell and stole our horses. They entered out village with certainly bad intentions. They terrorized the people. We prayed to Saint Michael the Archangel, and he get the devils back to the hell with his sword.

I thank the Virgin of San Juan for saving me from falling off the horse when we were passing by the field and a mouse scared my horse. I managed to grab the horse’s hair and to avoid an accident.

My parents forced me to marry a rich landowner whom I didn’t love. However on the day of the wedding, Jesus Lopez, whom I always loved, came back to the town. He abducted me right in front of the church and took me on his horse. I thank the Blessed Sacrament because we’ll be happy now.
