The Virgin of Guadalupe gave me the delight of flying three nights in a row. I flew under the moonlight, over the fields and over the towns. Although my husband told me it were only dreams, I know it was real. I thank the Virgin for the beautiful and unusual experience and dedicate this retablo to her.

I dedicate this drawing to the Virgin of Guadalupe in her Day, December 12, 2013, as sign of my eternal gratitude for showing me that despite my wife Maria Virginia de Sosisoxitl being incapable to cook neither ceviche nor pozole, she still can be very good at the kitchen… and dirty.

We lived happily with my wife Patricia all our life. But then she got insane. Her behavior was frightening. She threw stuff and even furniture when she was mad. And she lost her temper over nothing. I prayed to the Holy Child of Atocha. Thanks to him my sister gave to my wife some herbs. With those herbs, and also with some pills prescribed by the doctor, her madness was over. I thank for that.

My husband liked to eat in bed while watching TV. It bothered me because he left crumbs and left-overs on the sheets. One warm night we left the window opened and a lot of squirrels came to our room. They started to eat the left-overs. I was nervous and began to scream like crazy. My husband chase the squirrels away and closed the window. I thank the Virgin of San Juan because after that my husband stopped eating in bed. And now is very comfortable to sleep without crumbs.

My husband Gustavo and your humble servant, we dedicate this retablo to the Virgin of Chapi because after many years of marriage we decided to join a swinger club where we have a lot of fun with others married couples who enjoy the latex and the sadomasochism like we do.

My late wife was very jealous. When I got married again, several years after her death, suddenly her ghost started to appear by nights. Her face was angry and she wanted to strangle me. I was scared and prayed to the Virgin of Zapopan so that she would rest her soul. Thanks to the Virgin the ghost never appeared again and rested in peace, I hope.

Me and my husband have no kids and maybe because of that we love our pigs so much. When there was the plague that killed pigs in our region we couldn’t sleep. We were worried that our pigs were going to die. But thanks to the Virgin of Guadalupe, who protected them, our pigs didn’t get ill. We thank for that.

My husband started to kick and gesticulate in his sleep. Sometimes he even pushed me of the bed. I had no idea how to calm him down until one day my neighbor recommended to give him valerian tea with tequila. Now my hubby sleeps like an angel. I give thanks to the Virgin of San Juan.

Señora Dionicia gives thanks to the Virgin of Guadalupe for saving her son Luis from dying after he had been shot by his brother Martin who thought that his wife cheated on him with Luis.

Soila Padilla prayed to the Virgin of San Juan so that her husband and her older son would stop drinking. 9 March 1949 the Virgin heard her prayers, and the son Simon got a good job and found a girlfriend. Her husband Melesio now drinks much less than before. Soila thanks for that offering the retablo to the Virgin.

Alberto Camacho became a widower. It hadn’t been a year when he got married again. But then his late first wife started to appear in the bedroom by nights. Alberto was scared and he prayed to the Virgin of San Juan so that she would make her soul rest in peace. The Virgin decided to help him, and the wife’s ghost never turned back again.

My husband Bonifacio became crazy after he had had a high temperature. He walked by house breaking all the stuff. I didn’t know what to do and I asked the Virgin of Zapopan to help me. Thanks to her intervention the sense of reality came back to my dear Bonifacio. Now he behaves like a normal person and doesn’t break anything.

Jasinta Xolaltenco gives thanks to Saint Paschal for saving her husband when he choked with tacos with pork that stuck in his throat.
