My old man Pancrasio used to drink in the bar with his friends. I was very desperate because he couldn’t stop and I had to pick him up and drag home so he wouldn’t drink anymore. I asked the Lord of the Wonders to help him to quit this bad habit. And with his help my old man amended his ways and started to work better.

I thank Saint Sebastian because I heard my boss coming back home, so I could escape through the window and stayed in the cold. He didn’t catch me with his wife. I asked you for help, and you made so he never found out about us. I appreciate this.

My wife loves the cats. She brings every stray cat she found to our house. It’s not that I don’t like that cats. But she let them sleep in our bedroom. They don’t sleep a lot, they play and always wake me up. When I get ready at mornings I find my clothes covered in their hair. I thank Saint Francis of Assisi because my wife finally understood that the cats can’t sleep with us. So now I sleep perfectly.

I thank the Lord of Chalma, because Joaquin managed to escape before my husband entered the room. So he avoided troubles. I dedicate this retablo, asking for forgiveness and repenting. I swear I wouldn’t have cheated on my husband, because he loves me and doesn’t deserve it. I’ll always be faithful to him until death tears us apart. I fell for Joaquin’s youth and words, but it really helped me to appreciate my husband as a man and as a human being.

My husband Jose Juan was a sleep-walker. Since he slept naked, he ran out at night naked to dance in the corn field. I was afraid that something might happen to him or he would run to the town and somebody would see him naked. I was ashamed to ask the saint for help because of his nudity. Then I prayed to Saint Lucy, because she is blind and couldn’t possibly see my husband. She made a miracle, and now Jose Juan sleeps at night and doesn’t run.

I thank the Virgin of Guadalupe because my buddy forgave me after catching me with his wife in their bed. I ask for your forgiveness but I couldn’t resist.

After looking for my husband in every bar, I found him very drunk with his buddy the devil. Thanks, Virgin of Juquila.

Enrique Perez loved to go to prostitutes. But one day he got drugged and was left naked and tied up in the motel. He thanks Saint Pancras for his wife didn’t divorce him and promises to amend his ways.

May you be blessed, Virgin of Guadalupe, because my husband didn’t catch me with the butcher in our bed. I offer you this retablo and promise not to do it again.

Bonifacio Carreto was distressed because his wife and his mother-in-law made his life miserable. He prayed to Saint Raymond for strength to change things. He offers this retablo because now he’s in charge.

My friend and I thank the Virgin of Carmen for saving us from my wife who wanted to kill us only because she caught us in the bed.

I thank the Virgin of Juquila for the viagra that helped me with this painful illness. Now I’m able to satisfy my wife in bed. No remedy helped me before. So I entrusted myself to you and tried the viagra. Now we’re very happy. I dedicate this retablo for saving our marriage.
