Carmen Gutierrez was always fighting with one boy in the school. But little by little their fights turned into love, and they’re a couple. She thanks Saint Anthony for this favor.

I was always followed by the cats when I went out. I thought it happened because I went to the market and they wanted some food. But then I noticed that they followed me anywhere. Maybe because I care about them, talk with them and sometimes, if I can, I leave them something to eat. I think they understand that I like them and that I always treat them with love. I thank Saint Francis for having a way with cats.

May you be blessed, Virgin of Guadalupe, because my husband didn’t catch me with the butcher in our bed. I offer you this retablo and promise not to do it again.

I offer this retablo to the Virgin Mary because I finally found a personal assistant to help me when taking a bath and with other things.

When I was on vacation in Veracruz I met Martin. We had such a good time together that I fell in love with him. But I was afraid he would reject me. So I prayed to the Holy Child of Atocha for a miracle, and Martin agreed to live with me at my house. He knew that I’m not a woman, and still he accepted me as I am. Here I‘m showing the day we met. It is a year since that wonderful day.

Damned demons got in my cellar. They ate my fruits and marmalades. They caused disorder and made the cellar smell like sulfur. The cross and holy water didn’t help. Then my brother gave me a kitten. It’s a known fact that the demons are afraid of the cats. So thanks to the Virgin of San Juan, the demons didn’t come back.

The boy Alberto Diaz thanks the Virgin of Guadalupe because the Angel won over the Black Demon and got the gold belt on the Arena Mexico, because he’s his favorite wrestler.

Red demons tortured my cats in order to have fun. I thank Saint Francis for blessing my broom. I swept those monsters and saved my cats from suffering.

The wrestler Jose Luis Fernandez was hit by a chair. His back was injured. He thanks St. John Bosco with this retablo because he recovered very quickly, so he’ll participate in the wrestling championship.

The magician Gumersindo Lopez brings this retablo to Saint John Bosco thanking him for all his help.
