I thank the Virgin of Guadalupe. I came to Mexico City from Aguascalientes to become a matador. Two years later, I had a performance in a town in Guerrero. During the fight I stumbled and I fell right on the bull’s horn. It pierced through my ribs, I got head injury and brain concussion. I thank for my recovery.

I thank the Virgin of Guadalupe. I prayed so much, and she worked a miracle and my favorite wrestler El Santo won.

When I was on vacation in Veracruz I met Manuel. We had such a good time together that I fell in love with him. I prayed to The Holy Child of Atocha for a miracle, and Martin agreed to live with me at my house. He knew that I’m not a woman, and he accepted me as I am. Here I‘m showing that beautiful day.

Thank you, Virgin of Guadalupe, for protecting us. A cold morning caught us in the mountains near by Gabriel Hernandez. My friend Miguel and I put a fire in a cave. We were talking when suddenly bullets began to fly out the fire. They were firing in all directions, and one hit me. Thank goodness, we managed to get in time to my friend who was a doctor.

I was desperate when I was fired. I didn’t know how to support my family. Then I had an idea to sell tacos at night. I asked the Virgin of Juquila for help, and thanks to her divine assistance the things are going very well. My tacos are the best in the neighborhood.

With this retablo, I want to give my condolences to the people of Spain and to condemn the terrorist attacks on the innocent people on the Atocha train station and in the Madrid trains. A lot of people was killed. From the bottom of my heart, I ask the Holy Child of Atocha to not allow this to happen again. I’m lighting up a candle and bringing these flowers in memory of the lost.

The Holy Face of God, I thank you for keeping alive all the Mexicans who participated in the Vietnam war. November 1, 1955, the conflict between North Vietnam and South Vietnam began. US sent the general William Westmoreland over there. The war ended on April 30, 1975.
