Raulito Garcia was so dumb that one day his teacher Sonia Corrales lost her patience and hit him with a ruler. When she saw him unconscious after the blow she prayed the Holy Virgin. The teacher thanks the Virgin because the boy fainted because he had worms and not because she hit him.

Rosita Martinez thanks the Holy Spirit because since she began to read books of fantasy, she has marvelous dreams. When she grows up, she wanted to be a writer to write stories about unicorns, mermaids and dragons.

My daughter had a fever. I prayed to the Virgin of Zapopan so that she’d cure her, and I fell asleep. Suddenly I was awoken by the soft sound of flipping wings. I opened my eyes and saw many glowing angels flying around my daughter’s bed. I though it was a dream. But the next morning my daughter had no fever and wanted to have a breakfast. Then I was certain it was a miracle of the Virgin who sent her angels to cure my girl. I thank the Virgin.

When the school where my wife used to teach for many years was closed she was very upset. She started to give lessons to our pets. It made me worried, so I prayed Saint Francis. He worked the miracle, and my wife received a teacher job offer from another school. She stopped torturing the poor animals which were very annoyed.

My husband loved his dogs so much he let them sleep in our bedroom. But then the dogs had their five puppies and it became totally unbearable. I prayed to the Virgin of San Juan for a solution. I thank the Virgin because my husband finally agreed to build a kennel for them. So now I don’t suffer from dog hairs and fleas.

The shoes in our family were scratched and torn. We didn’t know the reason until one night when I woke up to go to the bathroom and looked under the bed searching my slippers and saw there the culprits. There were aluxes with giant claws. They tried to put my favorite shoes on. I thank the Virgin of San Juan because the duendes ran away in fear when we smoked them out with tobacco. Because it’s a known fact that the aluxes can’t stand the cigar smoke.

I love very much to read about travels and adventures. And I always consult the maps. Because of that every night I see dreams about traveling in other countries and having big adventures. I thank the Blessing Sacrament for giving me such an imagination.

I was taking bath in the river with my son. The baby boy slipped out of my hands and was taken by the current. I desperately swam after him. I was able to catch his ankle but then we both fell down a waterfall. I thank the Virgin of Zapopan for the miracle that we didn’t get hurt.

My husband brought home a mermaid. I was very jealous because he wouldn’t pay me any attention. One day he went to work. The mermaid was sleeping in her pond. So I caught her with a net and threw this damned creature in the sea. I thank the Virgin of San Juan because now my husband pays me more attention.

I took my girlfriend Mariana for a boat ride on the lake on the moonlight. But suddenly the monster who lives in water appeared and tried to abduct my girl and take her to the bottom of the lake. I thank the Virgin who gave me enough strength to hit the monster with the oar and to push him off the boat. We managed to row to the coast before the monster recovered from the blow.

All my friends in the town had already got married, and I felt myself as an old maid. So I accepted the Rodrigo Perez’s proposal who was my suitor all my life. But on the day of the wedding, I realized that I was going to marry an incredibly boring and conservative man who can’t even dance and whom I didn’t even love. I ran from the church and went to my friend Flora. I came to her right in my wedding dress. Now I’m happy because I got a good job. I thank Saint Anthony for clearing my mind and I didn’t commit a grave error.

A giant monstrous spider wove his web in the cupboard. When I found it I was paralyzed with fright, because I’am afraid of all the spiders, even the small garden spiders. But my son reacted very quickly and sprayed an insecticide on the animal. He had to use the whole can. I thank Saint Francis because the monster didn’t attack my son and because my son is a very brave boy and was able to kill the spider.

Raquel Rios and Veronica Gonzalez took stray dogs from the street and not only fed them but also washed and brushed them and got rid of fleas. Raquel and Veronica thank the Virgin of San Juan for the opportunity to take a lot of dogs and make them so beautiful that their friends and some other people would like to foster these dogs and even gave small donations to help in their cause.
