The teacher Maria Molina always fell asleep in class because she had insomnia at night. The school principal threatened to fire her if she would continue to sleep because the children made noise and were very naughty while she was sleeping. Maria was afraid and prayed to the Virgin of San Juan. And by the miracle now she sleeps at night like a baby and never sleeps in class.

My husband started to kick and gesticulate in his sleep. Sometimes he even pushed me of the bed. I had no idea how to calm him down until one day my neighbor recommended to give him valerian tea with tequila. Now my hubby sleeps like an angel. I give thanks to the Virgin of San Juan.

Everybody likes how I cook. People always ask me what is my secret. It’s the Virgin of San Juan who sends her angels to make my food delicious. They add some salt and thyme here and there. And I give thanks to the Virgin for this miracle.

I was cleaning my kitchen when I slipped on soap water and fell on the kitten basket. I thank the Virgin of Zapopan for the miracle that I didn’t smash them, although I’m pretty fat.

A crocodile got in our house. I tried to drive it out with a broom but my sister got another idea. She sprayed insecticide at the crocodile. It didn’t like either the sound of spraying or the taste of the insecticide that it got in its mouth. However, the crocodile decided that better go away. We thank the Virgin of San Juan because the animal didn’t bite us.

I give thanks to the Virgin of Zapopan because at the Christmas party that I had for my kids everything was fun and there were a lot of happy children.

I give thanks to the Virgin of Zapopan because my horse El Rojo (Red) got better after illness and didn’t die.

Dolores Mejia gives thanks to Saint Anthony because her fiancé Romualdo Muñoz finally proposed to her, after 12 years of engagement. On May 19 of the current year they got married at the Santa Rosa Chapel.

Soila Padilla prayed to the Virgin of San Juan so that her husband and her older son would stop drinking. 9 March 1949 the Virgin heard her prayers, and the son Simon got a good job and found a girlfriend. Her husband Melesio now drinks much less than before. Soila thanks for that offering the retablo to the Virgin.

Our kids got lost in the forest. We thank their angel guardian because he guided them to the house with his light. The children came back safe and sound.

My daughter Luisa started sleepwalking. She went out by nights. I prayed to the Virgin for a cure, and the Holy Virgin gave me an idea to add some holy water to the Luisa’s milk. So now my girl doesn’t walk by nights.

My daughter Maria was in marriage age. She was very pretty but she was an awful cook. I prayed to Saint Anthony so that he make her a better cook. Otherwise she would never get a proposal. Saint worked the miracle, and my daughter began to cook better. And with a recipe book that I bought her she even prepared very tasty dishes.

I had a tedious life and a boring job. But someone gave me a book and it was such a marvelous so I started to read more and more. Now I have wonderful dreams about adventures and fantasies. I thank the Virgin of Rosary for discovering the wonderful world of books.
