On September 19, 2017, there was a terrible earthquake in Mexico, and my brother was trapped under the debris of the collapsed building where he lived. But after few hours the dog Frida found him, and thanks to her his life was saved. I ask Saint Francis of Assisi, with this retablo, to protect and look after Frida and other rescue dogs who risk their lives to save ours at these catastrophes.

We thank the Holy Virgin of the Rosary from Talpa for the great miracle she made for us. We were attacked and threatened with death in Sinaloa, but we all escaped alive. We are very grateful.

August 1900, Trinidad Hernandez fell sick with a high fever which left him no hope. All the efforts of the medicine didn’t bring him any relief. But his wife, along with the family, prayed the Merciful Lord, and eventually he recovered his health.

A bad day it was when we went to the river to fish salmon and a very angry bear came out to us reclaiming his territory so we decided we’d better leave.

I thank God and his mother, Virgin of the Rosary of Talpa. It was March 1995, we were going to Talpa, and, before Cruz de Romero, there is a spot on a curve which we used for our physical needs. It was the dawn, and, although there was a beautiful moon, it was difficult to see. I went away to find an appropriate place and suddenly felt that I was being pulled to the cliff. It was a strong pull of my entire body, clothes and moreover my hair. I implored the Virgin and asked my companions for help. They saved me from a secure death right away. I dedicate this retablo in gratitude.

A man from the market reminded me about this man, so I started to desire him. I prayed to you to help me with it, since I didn’t want to wallow in my desires. May you be blessed Mother because you sent me your love and power to overcome this desire.

January 4, 1931, Eutimio Mora went to swim while he was fishing at the Champoton laguna and had an encounter with a crocodile of more than two meters long. It attacked him furiously, and, finding himself exhausted, he was lucky to entrust himself to the divine image and was saved. He brings the present retablo in gratitude.
