My husband bought a little house in a place far away from the civilization. The place was very beautiful, with a lot of wild animals. But the bad things started when it turned out that the monkeys wanted to become our friends. They became a real plague. They stole the clothes when I did my laundry, they pulled our hair, took our food, they were everywhere, and soon enough my children became to behave like the monkeys. I thank the Virgin of the Solitude because my husband got another job and we had to move to Jalapa. Here I even have a washing machine and no monkeys.

Because I kept staring at two hot chicks walking down the street I didn’t notice a banana peel. I slipped on it and almost fell into an opened manhole. I thank Saint Charbel who didn’t let me fall into this manhole and break my bones. I promise him not to show off in front of the girls and not to give them the glad eye.

The possibility to dance every day is the best gift that the life could have possibly given me. I love to merge with the music and to feel the flexibility of my muscles and to respond to the sound and to create the beauty in my movements. I thank the Virgin of the Rosary whom I asked to help me to become a ballet dancer, when I was a little girl. And she fulfilled my dream.

Since the rains continued for a long time, we couldn’t work, because the materials deteriorated. We prayed to the Virgin of San Juan because we were scared we would be fired because we weren’t working. But the engineer understood us and didn’t fire us. He even celebrated the Day of the Holy Cross with us. We present this humble retablo, as we promised.

I though the God called me and I went to a convent as a novice. But it happened so my old boyfriend Luis Reyes came back to the town and found out about my decision. The night before I took the veil he climbed to my window. Then I realized that I was still loving him, and we ran away by the roofs. I thank the Virgin of the Rosary for opening my eyes before I made a huge mistake.

My daughter had nightmares almost every night, and she woke up scared and with bags under her eyes. We prayed together to her Guardian Angel so that he would protect her from these frightening wiles that unsettled her dreams. Few days later the angel made the nightmare monsters go away with his light. Now my daughter sleeps well and sees sweet dreams.

I fell in love with the twin sisters, Lupe and Gabriela. They both reciprocated me. They used to divide everything between each other but to divide me wasn’t a good idea. I couldn’t decide myself whom I prefer better. So I prayed to the Virgin of Guadalupe and she made so Gabriela fell in love with another young man. So now I can marry Lupe without other temptations.

We presented before Our Virgin of San Juan to ask her so that the coyote wouldn’t eat our turkeys. The Virgin heard our prayers and worked the miracle. So when the coyote came next time, the turkeys attacked it all together. They pecked it, and the coyote ran away scared and never came back.

My garden and my house were filled with enormous snails. They ate my plants and left slippery paths everywhere. My son Ramon even wanted to adopt one and keep it as a pet. I prayed to the Virgin so that she would deliver me form these disgusting animals, and in few days they disappeared. I give thanks.

My son Luisito’s school took the children for a walk in the hill. Since it was very windy and my boy is a very short and weak, he was taken by the wind in the air. Thanks to the Virgin of San Juan, the mother Carmelita was able to catch him after he flew for about 10 meters. The boy wasn’t hurt.
