Thank you, Saint Jude, for you favors. I went to study in the Monterrey University. I found an apartment. I had been living there for four months, when one day I was going out of the bathroom and saw the landlady’s son in my room. I was surprised and asked what he wanted and how did he get into my room. He told me he wanted to have sex with me. “Are you crazy?” I asked. Then he grabbed me and tried to throw me on the bed. He didn’t count that I’m doing karate. So I hit him so hard, so that he wouldn’t think to talk with me again.

Lorenza Gonzalez brings this retablo to Saint James thanking him because her old man broke off the bad habit after he saw the ghost of Agapito Treviño, or the White Horse.

My daughter’s enemies spread rumors and confabulate all kinds of dirty stories about her in order to malign her honor and person. Then I implored Saint Raymond’s help, who sowed dissension among the enemies. They began to fight with each other and left my daughter in peace. I thank for that.

I was being told by my friends that I’d be an old maid forever because I’m so fat. It saddened me, so I prayed to Saint Antony for a lover who’d love me for who I am. He fulfilled my wish, and now my Pepe makes me happy. He asked me for marriage with a serenade, and I thank for that.

I give infinite thanks to Saint Thomas Aquinas because thanks to his intervention I met very virile and hairy man, just as I liked them. His name is Tomas, and we perform at the theatre with our poodle Lucero.

April 1976, in the city of Monterrey The Pharaoh was fighting against Blue Demon and almost semi-fainted. He entrusted himself to the Lord of Anxieties. When the rival was about to rip The Pharaoh’s mask away, the light in the coliseum went off. And that saved The Pharaoh’s career. In sign of his gratitude he dedicated this retablo.

December 30, 2004, at the evening, Ernesto Valdes Perez […] had an unpleasant experience with deadly consequences, when he almost died of long exposure to the carbon monoxide. He crawled out to the balcony, following his instinct, and activated the alarm that attracted the help of the Green Cross and the police and later on the morbid presence of the television with helicopters. However, they didn’t find anything serious, nor the victims. Thanks God for this miracle that happened in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, at the foot of the Saddle Mountain.

He made this retablo to the Virgin of Guadalupe in gratitude for saving his life.

At the Christmas party in the neighborhood I drank a lot of punch with liquor. I didn’t notice how I got into the piñata event and there I was kicked right in the head. I give thanks to Saint Charbel for nothing bad happened to me and I got only the lump that disappeared within few days.

I dedicate this retablo to St. Martin the Cavalryman for helping me to find another job, because before I worked wearing the hamburger costume. It was so heavy and stuffy, that I fainted a lot. But the most humiliating part was that not even the dogs respected me. But now I have a quieter job.
