My daughter was having many problems with studying arithmetic. It seemed she was trying very hard, but still she couldn’t get it. I prayed to the Holy Child of Atocha for help, and then I had an idea to invent a game with additions, extractions and multiplications. Playing this game, my girl learned it really quickly. Now she’s the best in her class in arithmetic, and I give thanks.

Miraculous Child of Atocha, I pay you back with this retablo for protecting me from the devil who appeared on my way, but you chased him away. Thank you.

Thank you, Holy Child of Atocha, for your favors. I was talking with Mariana about our decision to live together. We were staying near the cabaret where she worked and where we had met each other. Rafael Gomez came home and found his son drowning in the pool. He thanks the Holy Child of Atocha for being there in time so he was able to save the boy. He promises to look after his son more carefully.

Catarino Telles, Nicolasa Ramirez’ son, was in bad conduiton after being hit in the testicles by a mule. No remedy would help him. Then he was entrusted to the Holy Child of Atocha.The next morning, he woke up healthy. He gives this retablo in gratitude.
