My husband and I were going through a marriage crisis. We even went to the family therapy but it didn’t work. I didn’t want to divorce him but I didn’t know what to do. I’m infinitely grateful to Saint Anthony of Padua for blessing me with an idea to invite my husband to the Zipolite nudist beach for a week-end. Thanks to this trip the flame of our love was revived, and now we love each other as much as when we were newlyweds.

I thank the Virgin of Zapopan for being a part of the folk dance group of my state. In this way, I’ve been able to travel around the world and to show a little bit the colors of my beloved Mexico. I dedicate this humble retablo for that.

Ismael de Rodas and his wife came to Yucatan as tourists. There an Ufo chased them for 30 minutes. Being scared they ran over all Chichen Itza. Finally they prayed Saint George, and then the UFO rise up at high speed and quietly disappeared in the sky. The spouses offer this retablo.

They also had the chance of having their photograph taken next to a guy that looked a lot like the famous Italian-American crooner Frank Sinatra.

Sophie Jones, an American, went to Puebla, and one evening she met Valentin Enriquez, who was painting in the Artist neighborhood. Sophie thanks Saint Anthony of Padua because Valentin turned out to be the love of her life. Sophie married him and stayed with him in this beautiful country.

Pablo Vasquez brings this retablo to the Virgin of Guadalupe because he managed to climb on greasy pole and won a trip to Acapulco.

I love very much to read about travels and adventures. And I always consult the maps. Because of that every night I see dreams about traveling in other countries and having big adventures. I thank the Blessing Sacrament for giving me such an imagination.

When I was on safari in Africa, I felt like peeing. I went to a tree. So I was peeing, and suddenly a viper appeared. It wanted to bite my manhood. I implored the Virgin of Guadalupe. She heard my prayers and shooed the viper away.
