Some thieves stole my bags at the San Pedro station while I was helping a lady with a boy off the train. Thanks to the Virgin of San Juan the thieves dropped my contrabass and I got it back because it’s my working tool.

The night of March 22, the friend of Filemon Garcia, who had been considered disappeared, brought him to his house. Turned out that Filemon had been so drunk he had been unconscious for three days in the house of a friend who had also been drunk. His wife, doña Cruz, thanks the Virgin of Zapopan because neither something bad happened with her husband, nor he left her for another woman, as she had thought.

My husband and I had six daughters and no sons. We prayed to the Virgin of Refuge, and thanks to her miracle I finally gave birth to a son who is our happiness now.

Some school bullies chased my son Mario to beat him because he was very small. But a stray dog which he always had been feeding with his sandwiches protected him. It came grunting and barking at the boys. My son brought the dog home. We washed and brushed it. It turned out to be very pretty so we adopted the dog. I thank the Virgin of San Juan because now Mario has someone to protect him.

On the Night of the Dead, our friends, my husband and I were going to the capital. We stopped to eat in a remote village in Puebla. We noticed there was a bar where the celebration was going on. So we decided to dance a little. But at the midnight all the inhabitants of the village turned into skeletons. We got scared and ran away. We thank the Virgin of Zapopan for the dead men didn’t do anything to us.

My children went to the mountains to gather wood when the thunderstorm began. There were many lightings and it rained very much, but thanks to the Virgin of Zapopan the kids found a cave where they hid themselves and waited until the storm ended. I thank the Virgin because I know there was no cave there, so it was a miracle.

A demon got in my room through the window and began to put my clothes on. He spent the night looking at himself in the mirror. I was scared and very insulted because all my clothes smelt like sulphur. Then I got an idea to take the mirror to the henhouse. Thanks to the Virgin of Zapopan, the devil didn’t come back. Now he visits my neighbor’s room because she smells like sulphur and she has a very beautiful mirror.

I thank the Virgin of San Juan because all my daughters inherited my ear for music, the passion and the ability to learn to play various instruments with ease.

The Juanito’s teacher was so annoying that the boy spent all the time thinking how to get rid of her. He wouldn’t study, and I was afraid he would be kept for a second year. Thanks to my prayers to the Virgin of Zapopan the teacher was changed for another who actually can teach. Now Juanito is very enthusiastic about studying and doing very well.

Because of an infidelity I decided to kill myself and jumped to the bottom of the lake. But thanks to the Virgin of the Rosary my all-life friend Luis Carlos saved me before I would drown. He confessed me that he loved me. And now we are a couple. We thank the Virgin for our happiness.

When I came back from my mother I found martians sleeping in my bed. They got drunk after the lemonade and fell asleep. I screamed in fear, and they awoke. They escaped through the window and ran to their ship, picking all the lemons from the trees by their way. I thank the Virgin of Zapopan for the martians didn’t do anything to me.

On the All Saints’ Eve I went for water and saw the Death in the well. Frightened, I closed my eyes and prayed to the Virgin of San Juan. When I opened my eyes, the Death wasn’t there. It didn’t appear to me anymore, and I thank the Virgin for that.
