A friend offered his car to Roberto Gutierrez but forgot to tell that there was a corpse in the trunk. Roberto was held by the police. He entrusted himself to Saint Jude, and after long questionings he was acquitted of the crime. The guilty person paid for his crime. Roberto brings this retablo in gratitude for that.

With all our hearts, we thank Saint Martin the Cavalryman for the miracle of opening our own bakery. We couldn’t open it for a while due to lack of money. But now we have many clients and orders, and we dedicate this humble retablo for that.

The people in the village were saying they had seen the Weeping Woman at night. Filled with fear, they shut themselves in their house from early evening. But I didn’t believe in those stories. The other night, I went to gather some fruits in the field and I heard her crying. I got so scared, I got goosebumps. I entrusted myself to Saint Benedict and ran away from there. Thanks to the saint’s help nothing bad happened with me. I promise to not laugh at the legends anymore.

Carlos Perez after waiting for so long finally was given an assistance dog. Now he can use even the subway. He thanks Saint Jude Thaddeus with this retablo for that big favor.

November 1, I went to the bar to drown my pain. There I found myself in the middle of a party of the dead men. They were celebrating being dead. I was terrified when they invite me to drink with them. I entrusted myself to the Holy Virgin of Guadalupe, and she helped me to escape. I promised to not drink alcohol anymore.

We met each other on our destined paths. We are in relationship and thank the Heart for that without fear of what the others say. He and I.

My granddaughters were playing dressing up in the attic. Anita put on the wedding dress of my great aunt in which she’d died of love. Suddenly her ghost appeared because her dress was desecrated. I thank the Virgin of the Rosary for the girls escaped from the ghost, their fear has gone and they don’t stutter anymore.

Norma Huerta was modeling in lingerie at a cemetery when a dead man grabbed her with his hand. She thanks Saint Martha with this retablo for escaping of this horrible experience and not dying of a heart attack.

Holy Virgin of Esther, thank you for the miracle of delivering me from those horrible nightmares when I saw a couple of living dead with their bony pets.

Inocencio Fernandez, being well drunk after consuming a lot of mezcal in the bar, began to see many skeletons around him. One of them asked Inocencio “Why you are alone?” It was the Death in person who tried to take him. He thanks the Lord of the Wonders for he could escape, running out of the bar, safe and sound before he died on that November 2. He promised to amend his ways.

Our grandmother used to chase out all our boyfriends with a broom. Also she kicked away the postman, the butcher and any other man approaching the doors of our house. We thank the Virgin of the Rosary for she finally moved out to our aunt Rosa. So now we can have boyfriends and receive the love letters from them.
