My son Arturo became a sleep-walker since his father had gone to work in Morelia. Arturo went opening drawers and closets and seeking and raking about. I was desperate, and I prayed to the Virgin of Zapopan, because I was afraid my son would become a real thief. The Virgin heard my prayers, and August 18, 1940, my husband came back home. And my boy got cured from his illness right away. I thank for that.

My daughters were playing hide and seek and got lost in the burnt forest. They were afraid because everything around was back and dead. But suddenly hundreds butterflies appeared and began to fly around my daughters. The girls followed them and got out the forest. I thank the Virgin of Zapopan for this miracle.

My little sons were swimming in the river when suddenly came a giant toothy crocodile. I thank the Virgin because only by her infinite mercy the animal did nothing to them and I managed to get them out the river.

I thank the Holy Child of Atocha because I found my son Antonio who had been kidnapped. He was kept chained in a hovel and he was badly beaten. After searching for him for so long, without losing my faith in you, we entrusted ourselves to you and now I dedicate this retablo.

In December, the boy Cleto was going to hit piñata but accidentally hit his brother in the face. He started bleeding, and bleeding didn’t stop. His parents prayed to Saint James. Now, since the boy got cured, they thank for that.

The girl Catalina Rendon asked the Magi for a Barbie doll. Now, because her wish came true, she dedicates the retablo and thanks the Magi.

The girl Maria Mendoza was taken in hospital after being hit during the piñata hitting. Her parents thank the Holy Child of Atocha because she got recovered. They offer this retablo, in sign of gratitude.

My twins sons are restless children. July 3, they ran from me and went riding the Jose Padilla’s red horse. It was a stubborn animal and it threw the children in a place full of rocks. I thank the Virgin, because miraculously my sons didn’t fall on the rocks.

My son Paco had a fever. He had hallucinations with skeletons that were flying around him. They laughed and wanted to take him with them. I was scared and I prayed to the Virgin of Zapopan, so she would bring down his temperature.Finally she heard my prayers. Paquito had no more fever and even started to eat. I give thanks to the Holy Virgin.

My sons went to the movie to watch a movie with monsters and mummy without asking my permission. After the movie they were so scared, that when they were going through a dark alley they imagined that there was a mummy growling at them. But my Samuel took out his medallion of the Virgin of San Juan, and the mummy got scared. So the kids ran away, and this monster didn’t follow them. I thank the Virgin for protecting my sons.

Since I entrusted myself to the Miraculous Virgin, I haven’t had any problems with delivering babies. I had been out of luck before, and many of my babies had been dying. I hope my luck will keep up and I’ll get a raise in the hospital.
