Rosa Maria Lopez became a sleepwalker. She woke up in the pigsty two times and she was ashamed of it. She prayed the Virgin of Zapopan for healing of this illness. The merciful Virgin heard her prayers, and now Rosa is alright. She thanks the Virgin because at least she was never seen with the pigs.

A grave illness hit the animals. I asked the Holy Virgin of Guadalupe of Mexico to look after my animals. With all my heart, I entrusted my goats, piglets, chicken and asked to not lose our corn field. Since no animal died she thanks offering the present retablo.

My husband brought home a horrible pig. It came to the kitchen and began to eat everything on its way. I didn’t know how to get rid of this pig. I prayed the Virgin of Guadalupe and she made so that pig ate my husband’s dinner. Thanks to that he took it to the ranch of his loyal friend.

My neighbor was a lazy man. When his fence was broken he didn’t fix it, so his pigs went directly to my garden and ate my flowers. I was desperate seeing what those pigs were doing with my garden. I prayed to Saint Francis because no matter how hard I tried to kick them out they always came back. The saint made a miracle. The neighbor patched the hole in the fence and saved me from the pigs. I give thanks.

I found Luis sleeping with the pigs. Please, Virgin, cure him.

Raul Lopez thanks Saint Paschal for he didn’t faint at the moment of sacrificing of the pig for the celebration of his godson. Raul is afraid of blood, but it was him who had the honor of killing the animal according to the tradition.

The Romero brothers took my favorite pig because I couldn’t pay them off my debt. They were about to grill and eat the poor animal. But thanks to the Virgin of San Juan they decided to drink first. They got so drank and didn’t notice two my grandsons taking the pig. They decided they had eaten the pig. I thank the Virgin of San Juan because my piggy came back home.

My sisters Carlota and Clara came back to our home town after having lived abroad. They had acquired some strange habits over there, but the worst part was their pets. I couldn’t understand why did they like them so much. But I felt so embarrassed and ashamed walking the pets out with them. I thank Saint Francis because the people got used to them and do not laugh at us anymore.

The Day of the Dead, some skeletons came out their graves, got drunk and went to my farm which is near the cemetery. They made a real mess and scared the animals—my poor chicken and pigs. I prayed the Virgin of Guadalupe for protection, and she made a miracle. The rooster sang much earlier before the dawn, and the skeletons ran to their graves leaving us in peace.

Thanks for everything.

When I saved my piggy Tocineto (Bacon) from being cooked for the Christmas dinner and raised him I couldn’t think that thanks to him I would perform in the circus with the most unusual act. I thank the Virgin of Guadalupe for giving me an idea to train my piggy and for he was so smart and quickly learnt all tricks.
