My husband Jasinto spent all days drinking in the pub with his friends. I always had to go after him so he wouldn’t end up lying on the street and so would nothing bad happen with him. I ask the Lord of the Wonders to help my husband to quit drinking. Thanks to his divine intervention, my husband now is a good-working man and doesn’t drink.

The Day of the Dead, I decided to put an altar for my recently deceased wife. So I cooked her favorite dishes. That night, I heard some voice calling me. I went to the sitting-room and I saw, with astonishment, that it was my wife scolding me for bad cooking and oversalting the food. I thank Saint Charbel for I saw my angry and complaining wife only that night, since she was also unbearable when she was alive.

On a trip to Mexico, I met a wonderful man, and I married him. The problems started when he asked me to cook for him. I didn’t know how to cook Mexican dishes. So I entrusted myself to Saint Paschal Baylon, with all my faith. Step by step, with his help, I learned how to prepare mole, tacos, chalupas, chile en nogada and tamales. Now my husband is very happy.

My mother-in-law always criticized my food because she didn’t like me as a daughter-in-law. It was very difficult for me when we were eating. I was in such despair so I entrusted myself to Saint Paschal, and little by little she changed her attitude towards me. Now she even admits that I cook very well and we live and peace.
