Since I got internet at home for my work my wife has been spending all her time chatting with her friends and playing the computer. She wouldn’t do her household chores and neglected our baby. I thank Saint Raymond Nonnatus for delivering her from this internet obsession. And now she’s an excellent mother and a great wife.

One morning, my brother and I went fishing. Suddenly two sharks appeared near us. We turned gray with fright, but that moment we implored Saint Peter for saving us from such a deadly danger. Little by little the sharks began to swim away. We bring this ex-voto, with all our faith and devotion.

As I promised, I dedicate this retablo to Saint Anthony of Padua for the miracle of sending me a fiancé. I thought, in my age, I would stay an old maid. I’m very happy with my Evaristo. He loves me, and we are going to get married.

On the night of November 2, I was at the cemetery cleaning some tombs. I got pretty scared when I saw with my own eyes that the dead man, whose tomb I was going to clean, opened up his tomb and got ready to leave. I ask the Virgin of Juquila to protect me and she helped me to escape from there. The next day, I decided I’d better quit that job at the cemetery.

I dedicate this retablo to the Virgin of Guadalupe as gratitude for the miracle that I’ve bought a new cart for selling sweet potatoes. My old one was stolen and I couldn’t work without it. And now I sell even more potatoes.
