Saint Carolo, patroness of poor traps

Thanks, Carolo, for giving me the example, the strength and the courage of coming out to Santo Tomas spreading my wings and flying freely. I would’ve been a frustrated and sad caterpillar without your reference. Thanks for overtaking the party noises with your hoarse voice. Thanks to you, Saint Carola, patroness of the crossdressers of the people. I’m a free butterfly now.

I thank the Holy Virgin of the Solitude for the miracle of keeping Eusebio Garcia away from liquor. He wallowed completely in alcohol and made me suffer from beating and bad treatment, and he even took money for laundry, and I had to come for him to the pulqueria-bar.

It happened so that miserable coronabitch got into my little daughter’s house. Thanks, Virgin, for she didn’t have it very bad and for she has her kitten Jose Jose who keeps her a company and her roomie who looks after her. I send her my blessings and my prayers from far away (although, she’s not a believer) and I hope to hug her as soon as she completely recovered.

My Mother of Guadalupe, I give thanks to you for letting my husband Pedro and my son Daniel and Luis to cross the border well. They got to the US and gained some bucks so we can live here in our beautiful and beloved Mexico. Also, I wholeheartedly beg you, with tears in my eyes, to always protect them.

My daughter became a sleepwalker, and I always got up to see if she stayed in bed. One night I saw that she had left the house. I saw her on the edge of the ravine, gathering the stardust, putting it together and then scattering it down over the village to convert it into fulfilled wishes and blessings for all. I thank heavens for allowing me to see this marvel and for making my daughter so special.

Happened so that in June, in the municipality of Chignahuapan, Puebla, an epidemic broke out among señor Hilario Sanchez’ animals. Finding himself in such distress, he asked, with all his heart, Saint Anthony the Great to not let the animals die. In few days they were cured. He dedicates this humble retablo for such a great miracle.
