Casilda Ramirez slipped on a banana peel at the market and fell off the stairs. She fell over her daughter Josefina, and they both fell over a poor stray dog. Only thanks to the name of Saint Jude Thaddeus mentioned by Casilda during the fall nothing happened with her nor her daughter nor even the dog. They only got scared a lot. Casilda thanks for this miracle.

June 12 was a very hot day. Gertrudis Flores took her daughters to the river to refresh. The sat near by the water, the suddenly two giant dogs come from the bushes and started growling ferociously. I was told by the doctor to stay in bed for few weeks. It was hurting so much to not be able to play with my grandchildren and to read them fairy-tales before they go to sleep every night. But then my grandchildren started to come to my bed so I could read them and we would travel together to the fantasy world. Even my illness went smoother with their love and care. I thank the Virgin of the Rosary.

My son was sick for a long time, and I was constantly praying to the Holy Virgin to heal him. She made the miracle, and now, when I see him running happily at the field with his kite, I feel so thankful for his healing. I dedicate this retablo to the Virgin of Zapopan as my gratitude.

Little Pedro Sanchez got in a cave and was attacked by vampires. He got very sick after that. He prayed to Saint Nicholas and got cured. He thanks for that.

One bully used to beat Arnulfo Gutierrez. Then the boy entrusted himself to Saint Jerome. With his help, Arnulfo learned to box and gave a good beating to the bully.

I made a very delicious cake for my daughter Marcela’s commitment dinner. But unfortunately my younger children are very gluttonous, so they ate almost the entire cake. But luckily—and forgive me God!—my daughter’s fiancé got measles, which he caught from his little sister. The dinner was canceled. And I’m immensely grateful to the Virgin of San Juan because the parents of the fiancé are very stiff and haughty and I didn’t know how to deal with such an embarrassing situation.

Since she was little, my daughter loved when I read to her. However, when she learnt to read she refused to read to herself. I didn’t know what to do, until the Virgin of Guadalupe sent me a wonderful idea. I offered to my girl to read books for the cats. She agreed. The cats seemed to love this idea also. They were fascinated by my daughter’s voice and gathered around her to listen. I thank the Virgin of Guadalupe for this miracle.

1935, in San Bernardino, my son Bartolo was riding on a carousel and flew off of his seat. When I saw him flying like a dung beetleI prayed to Saint James. Thanks to him my son only got his mug scratched.
