It happened with the boy Toño, who flied his kite, when the cliff collapsed and the rocks rolled down crashing his legs. He was buried under stones. After being told what happened his mother ran to him. When she saw the boy, she entrusted him to the Holy Child of Atocha. She offered this retablo because he was saved. But he couldn’t walk. So she, without losing her faith, entrusted him again. And now Toño is healed and he can walk. Full of joy the mother offers this retablo thanking the Holy Child.

I give thanks to the Virgin of Guadalupe for such a big favor. She made my son Javiercito’s dream came true. He had had an accident, and he was so sad sitting in his wheelchair and watching his favorite wrestler El Santo. Suddenly the wrestler came to him and gave him one of his masks.

My husband, who is a musician, bought violins to our daughters. But since he was always on tour, he didn’t know that they hadn’t inherited his pitch and that they played horribly. For me it was a nightmare. I thank the Virgin of Zapopan because some of my husband’s concerts were canceled and he came home. When he heard this infernal music, he took away the violins from the girls. And I finally got some peace.

My daughters played with jumping ropes outside. Soledad got tangled in the rope and fell hitting her head. She lost consciousness. I asked the Holy Child of Atocha so that she wouldn’t have her head broken. And the X-rays made by the doctor showed that she was alright. I thank for that.

On the Day of the Dead, I went out to see if my son was coming home from school. Since our home was beside the cemetery, I found out that the skeletons left their graves. They were very happily walking down the street. All the people in the town hid in the houses. We thank the Virgin of Guadalupe because the next day the skeletons came back to the cemetery and rested in peace.

My son Ramiro was taken by the current. He didn’t know how to swim. But the Virgin of Zapopan send a brave and intelligent dog who saved him before he would have drowned.

Altagracia Mireles gives thanks to the Virgin of Zapopan for protecting her daughter Dulce Maria when don Eladio’s dog came to the house. It was an aggressive animal, but it did nothing to the girl. She ran to hug the dog, and the dog barked and went away. I dedicate this retablo in order to thank the Virgin of Zapopan.

The boy Pedro Lopez decided to blow the trumpet right in the ear of his sleeping father causing him hearing damage. The boy thanks Saint Pancras with this retablo for nothing serious happened and he only got whipped with belt.

Maria Antoniela Perez broke her back when she tried to reach the top shelf of the cupboard. The cupboard fell on her and smashed her. She and her parents, doña Luz and don Ramon, give thanks to the Holy Virgin of Zapopan because the girl marvelously recovered. And the doctor said she is going to be alright.

My son Juanito was flying a kite on the hill but fell and hit his head on a stone. After that he started seeing double. I prayed to the Holy Child with the Ball because I worried that my son would go blind. The Child worked the miracle and Juanito got better. Now he sees normal and I’m thanking for it.

The children from Saint Nicholas School thank Saint Nicholas because Spiderman was at their party and they had a lot of fun.

My husband got a parrot as a gift. The parrot sang obscene songs. My children didn’t understand it but were very happy and memorized all this filthiness. I asked Saint Francis to bring the parrot under control because my husband didn’t want to give it away. With saint’s help and with great patience I managed to make the parrot to sing nursery rhymes.
