I thank you, Virgin of San Juan, for your favors. I had vacations and decided to visit my cousins in Michoacan. On my road to them I saw a completely naked woman sitting on a rock. When I got closer, she changed her color. It was, no more no less, the devil himself. I entrusted myself to the Holy Virgin, grabbed my cross and the devil disappeared in the air right away.

Rodolfo Garcia and his 16-years old daughter were going from the Ojuela village to the middle school in Mapimi. Suddenly, an UFO appeared and washed them over with the bright light. Their clothes got on fire. They prayed Saint Michael the Archangel in fear, and the UFO disappeared. Their burns were pretty serious and they needed help. They went to the hospital. Now, after recovery, they offer this retablo.

The girl gave a small box to Ricardo as a goodbye gift. The box performed different miracles. Now Ricardo has grown up, and he dedicates this retablo to Saint Michael the Archangel.

It happened in 1970, in San Lorenzo Tezonco. We thank the Virgin of Guadalupe for our corn crop. In spite of strong frosts the year, it was very abundant. We were praying to you as we do every year, and now we thank.
Romula and Simon
Retablo by Alfredo Vilchis
My beloved Simon moved out from our village with his parents. He promised me to come back to marry me. All that time I was praying Saint Anthony of Padua for the miracle so Simon would turn back as soon as possible because I was missing him very much. I asked so that Simon won’t forget about me. Some time later he came back fulfilling his promise. We are happy together and love each other very much. I dedicate this retablo for that.

Virgin of Guadalupe, thank you for your favors. I got involved with a real psychopath without knowing it. Suddenly he became mad with no reason. He was speaking incoherently and asking me whom I’d been cheating on him with. I told my father about Javier but he answered me that it was my fault that I’d got mixed up with a man like him. In the end, Javier stripped me down, tied my arms around a tree and flogged me. My father was coming by, he saw Javier beating me and shoot him in the leg. I was saved.

Virgin of Juquila, thank you for your favors. I miraculously survived after being gored by the bull. I was going cool as a cucumber when the bull attacked me from behind. When he hit me, I went unconscious. Also, I’d like to thank a mister who brought me to his house and tamponed my wounds to stop bleeding. He went for a doctor, and I quickly recovered.
