My husband told me that he was going to paint our house with a friend’s help while I’d be visiting our daughter and grandsons in Guanajuato. But when I came back I found that the friend was Pedro Rosas, an old fashion hippy, and that he had convinced my husband to paint the house with psychedelic colors and images. Our house was a nightmare. There were eyes looking from the walls. I thank the Virgin of Guadalupe because I convinced my husband that all that was insane. Now, after repainting all with white paint our house is inhabitable again.

I was going in my carriage, when the Death appeared before me. She told me, “Give me a ride!” I was scared for my life and prayed the Virgin of San Juan. She delivered me from this horror, and I dedicate the retablo.

I used to work as a magician’s assistant for many years. Then I deiced I had enough. The main reason was that the magician was very clumsy. He could drop me down during the levitation routine hurting me very bad. Or when he was sawing me I was always scared he might really cut me in half. I thank Saint Helen for she helped me to make up my mind, take all the acts we used to do and create my own performance routine. I became one of the few female magicians. I have a big success, and I’m constantly asked to perform at different events.

I thanks Saint Michael the Archangel for letting me join him at night and fight the evil together. He chops devils with his blazing sword, and I hit them with my broom. Together we fight for a better and cleaner world.

Ramon A. P. was painting houses in a residential neighborhood in Garci-Crespo. Around 11 a.m. he heard some humming noice like a wasp buzz. He wanted to run but when he looked back he saw an UFO hanging over the roofs. The UFO went up and disappeared. Ramon thanks Saint Raymond Nonnatus.

June 15, 1942, seven o’clock in the evening, the Ruiz sisters, Rosa and Carmen, were coming back home and got scared when a robber with a pistol attacked them in an alley behind the market. They entrusted themselves to the Virgin of San Juan, and thats’ why the robber didn’t kill them. He only took their bags with some money and the missal. The sisters thank because he didn’t hurt them.

I met my friend Carolina and we started to chat. Suddenly some cats began falling on us. They were fighting on the roof. When they fall they hit a flower pot and it fell on my head. I began to see double after the blow. I saw non-existing tings also, strange buildings, odd people and weird animals. I prayed the Holy Virgin to heal me. I thank her because two days later everything was back to normal.

The girl Yolandita Garcia brings this retablo to the Virgin of Juquila thanking her because her hair has grown back and she can make pigtails again. She lost her hair because of a chemo.

My dear Saint Francis of Paola always helps us to get some corn for tortillas.
