I woke up very early to go to swim. I got tangled with seaweed and started to drown. But thanks to the Virgin of the Rosary my sister Luisa heard my voice in her dream and came running to save me before I drown.

My son Raul went to the market to buy sausages and on his way back he was attacked by an enormous dog, that jumped on him and knocked him down. I thank the Virgin of Zapopan because the beast only ate the sausages and the bread and didn’t bite my son.

My house was filed with legions of cockroaches. They were everywhere, in every corner. Each repellent I used didn’t help. Then I prayed to Saint Francis of Assisi so he would deal with his animals. The Saint might have called them because the next day the cockroaches disappeared.

I thank Saint Sebastian because I heard my boss coming back home, so I could escape through the window and stayed in the cold. He didn’t catch me with his wife. I asked you for help, and you made so he never found out about us. I appreciate this.

When I was swimming I was attacked by a giant octopus. He grabbed me with its tentacles and I fell like I was going to die. I prayed to the Virgin of Guadalupe. Suddenly the octopus let me go, and I managed to escape and recover my breath. I thank the Virgin.

Virgin of Guadalupe, don’t let mister Osama bin Laden attack the United States again, especially with nuclear bombs, because my relatives are working over there, in Los Angeles, California. Let there be piece and no war for we all are your sons. Bring them to their senses for the good of humanity.

My wife loves the cats. She brings every stray cat she found to our house. It’s not that I don’t like that cats. But she let them sleep in our bedroom. They don’t sleep a lot, they play and always wake me up. When I get ready at mornings I find my clothes covered in their hair. I thank Saint Francis of Assisi because my wife finally understood that the cats can’t sleep with us. So now I sleep perfectly.

I thank San Miguel, my patron saint, for saving me from being bitten by a very large venomous rattlesnake. It was a very close call. I remember the day very clearly. I was wearing my brand new blue jeans, and I was looking at the distant rain storm. When the snake struck, my hear almost pounded of my chest, & I nearly became ill with “susto”, fright sickness.

Dulce Maria Hernandez and her children were picking apples in the garden. Dulce fell of the ladder. Since she was six months pregnant, she is very grateful to the Virgin of Zapopan because she fell on the big fat dog that was so lazy that it didn’t even move. Dulce didn’t get hurt and her fall was soft.

I thank Saint Sebastian for saving me from being hit to death by a client, who on our way to the hotel noticed that I wasn’t a woman. I prayed to you in this misfortune and now I’m all right.
