Margarita Segura was a very depressive girl. So when she saw that her fiancé didn’t arrive on the day of the wedding, she ran and threw herself to the lake, from which she was saved by a fisherman, thanks to the Virgin of the Rosary. Afterwards, she found out that her fiancé didn’t mean to leave her, but had some serious troubles and couldn’t arrive in time. She thanks the Virgin for being saved for her own happiness.

Our elephant was always very obedient. But April 3, 1962, it got furious. We thank the Virgin of Guadalupe because we didn’t get hurt and the animal finally calmed down.

He went on the kitchen and tried the chilaquiles I made. He got furious, he threw the pan saying that the food wasn’t spicy enough. I asked him not to get mad. But he grabbed my hair and kick me in the face. He broke my jaw. So I had it, and I kicked him out the house.
