Virgin of Guadalupe, thank you for saving me from dying of COVID-19. I asked you to grant me health and you did it. Protect all the doctors who are fighting to save lives in the hospitals.

My throat was inflamed and I couldn’t sing. I almost lost my voice. I entrusted myself, with great devotion, to the Holy Child Doctor of the Ill to heal me. The Child helped me, and now I’m singing again and eve better than ever. I thank for that with this retablo.

I thank the citizens of San Evelio del Volcan for giving me their civic votes. Although I won by six votes—which are more precious than gold—I will try hard for everyone. Now those who didn’t vote for me, I ask them to give back the gifts received during the campaign. It would be fair. This retablo is made by MLE in exchange of a food basket and two tickets to the movies.

The patriarchy won’t fell, we will bring it down

March 8, I went to the streets of San Luis Potosi with thousands of girls and women to fight for our rights. Thank you, Virgin, for this experience full of love and power.

Thank you, Virgin of Guadalupe, for making me pull myself together and showing me that Rosita wasn’t for me, so I recovered my heart and my wallet.

I dedicate this exvoto to Saint Augustine to honor the long and marvelous career of Christopher Lloyd. His many characters have brought joy and inspiration to millions of people, especially his role of Doc Brown in “Back to the Future”.

Alejandra R. and Alberto M. were fucking at the cemetery, and the dead attacked them. They thank Saint Jude, with the present retablo, because they managed to escape. They promise not to get in sacred places.

I bought a piñata for my son Beto’s birthday because he wanted it so much. I put a blindfold on his eyes and, as a joke, turned him around many times to make him dizzy. But he ended up confusing me with the piñata and began to beat me with a stick. I thank the Virgin of San Juan because his grandmother could stop him before he smashed me.

Tragedy on the Honeymoon

At the sea in San Carlos, Mexico, I thank Teta Kawi for granting me the miracle of finding my snorkel mask! Without my mask I couldn’t have seen all the beautiful marine life. I’m very thankful, to your honor!

Dulce Maria Morales’ mother-in-law doña Martiniana used to have anger attacks during which she seemed demoniacal. The father Ruperto told Dulce to pour holy water in the mother-in-law’s tea and to pray to the Virgin of Guadalupe. Some time later she changed. Dulce thanks Our Lady for her help.

I dedicate this exvoto, with all humility, to Saint Charbel to the health and continuing success of a marvelous actress Heather Langenkamp. She’s a wonderful example of beautiful and strong woman, and I’ve been admiring her for many years.
