My wife loved her cats and dogs so much she even let them sleep in our bed. It was unbearable to sleep with a lot of animals. They were constantly scratching, panting, purring and stepping all over me. I prayed to Saint Francis to not show his mercy just to the animals but to think also about me. I thank the saint because my wife got some skin rash and the doctor prohibited to her to sleep with the animals. Now they sleep apart in the sitting-room.

My husband Meliton was called by the Revolutionaries to join them in their fight. I was very sad and worried seeing him leaving me. I entrusted myself to the Virgin of Guadalupe, and she worked the miracle of seeing my husband returning home safe and healthy. I bring this humble retail for that.

After many years of marriage, my wife began throwing tantrums. I couldn’t predict when and why she would get angry. Sometimes she could hit me with any object she would have in her hand—a pan, a broom or something else. It was scary one time she had a knife. I prayed the Virgin of Zapopan, and she made a real miracle. Few weeks later my wife was back to normal as she had been before, and now she doesn’t get angry anymore.

My husband Ramon had a heart condition. He was going through a delicate surgery, and the Virgin of Guadalupe made me the miracle of saving his life. I thank her with this retablo.

Rosaura Limon wholeheartedly thanks the Virgin of Guadalupe for the miracle that her husband Pedro returned home from United States to spend Christmas and New Year with her and children. He went there for work, and they didn’t see him for a whole year. They missed each other a lot.

Antonio gives thanks to the Lord of Chalma because his buddy didn’t notice him hiding under the bed. He was sleeping with his friend’s wife but now he’s repented and promises not to do it again.

In 1915 in San Camilo my buddy caught me on the mat with his wife. He started to shoot at us. I give infinite thanks to Saint Raymond because bullets didn’t hit me. She took them all.

I met Arturo few months after his wife had died at the day of their wedding. We fell in love, and, after waiting one year of his widowhood, we got married. But after coming back from our honeymoon I began to see his first wife’s ghost every night. She was furious and looked at me with so much hate. Arturo slept like a log and of course didn’t see any of this. And me—I was trembling in fear. Then I ordered a requiem mess for her soul. I thank the Virgin of Zapopan because the ghost hasn’t appeared ever since.

Cristobal Ramirez came home drunk and smelling of whores. His wife got pissed off and threw the working iron at him while he was in the bath. He thanks the Holy Child of Atocha for he survived and only stutters. And his wife is in jail.

My wife had declared that if I’d ever go partying with my colleagues I’d be very sorry. But the other night I was invited to a party and I couldn’t refuse to go. I prayed a lot to Saint James the Apostle so he would protect me in his mercy. When I came home, the shrew was in deep sleep and didn’t noticed what time I returned. I bring this humble retablo thanking for such miracle.

My wife ate more and more. She even brought food to the bed. All the sheets were in crumbles, and she became so fat, she occupied almost all the bed and pushed me out of it at night. I was anxious to get my good sleeping back so I prayed the Virgin of Zapopan. Right away my wife stopped overeating and even started losing some pounds. She became so beautiful, even our new neighbor commented me how nice looking she is. And I thank for I sleep well again.

I thank the Virgin of Candelaria because without her help I wouldn’t have been able to convince this pig my husband to burn his dirty collection of photos of naked women which he had been hiding very well.

My husband used to spent his days wathicng videos on the internet. He disregarded his obligations as the head of the family. I was in despair and was about to leave him. Then I prayed Saint Martha, and little by little my husband realized his mistake. He has turned to be good husband and resposnable father as he’d been before. I dedicate this humble retablo for that.
