I thank the Virgin of Guadalupe for bringing my husband back from the USA. He used to work as a waiter in a restaurant in one of the twin towers in New York. When I saw this on TV, I prayed the Virgin for divine protection and help, and she heard my prayers.

I thank the Virgin of the Immaculate Conception because my husband has returned to me. Two years ago, he left me pregnant and went to another woman. I thank you, Virgin, for bringing him back to me. I dedicate this humble retablo to you.

When they closed the school where my wife used to work as a teacher for many years, she got upset. Then she acquired the habit of teaching our pets. I was worried and prayed Saint Francis so he would help her. The saint worked a miracle, and my wife was given a teacher job in another school. And now she doesn’t have this rare habit of teaching animals which annoyed them greatly.

My husband Filemon died many years ago. Nevertheless he has keeps visiting me every his birthday to taste what I cook for him since he always loved my food. I thank Saint Paschal Baylon for having made me such a good cook. And I thank for the opportunity to see my beloved husband, although in such peculiar manner, so I never forget him.

I love spicy food, but my wife used to throw too much chili to her stew. I asked Saint Paschal for his divine help because I couldn’t stand the burning it gave me. Now my wife puts just a right amount of chili in the stew.

Lord of Chalma, thank you because my wife with my kids have returned to me. She left me because I used to get drunk, to spend all days in the bar and to beat her and kids, when I came home. When I was all alone, as a dog, I realized I couldn’t live without them. I stopped drinking and begged her with tears to come back. There have been 10 years without me drinking.

My husband was very bad with the intimate things. He was thinking only about his job and his office things. Meanwhile, little by little, I began to feel attraction to his beautiful boss when my husband invited him to our house for dinner. One night, when the boss sent my husband in a business trip, we had a love affair and I got pregnant. I thank Saint Augustine because my husband thinks it’s his baby. I ask you to not let him ever find out about my infidelity.

My wife used to have terrifying nightmares because she read horror stories. She woke up at night screaming and kicking around. She even pushed me off the bed. I thank the Virgin of Zapopan, because my wife reads love stories now. She tells that she has nice dreams about handsome men, she looks like she kisses them at her dream, and we both sleep in peace.

My wife read in a decoration magazine that the “Dark” style was in vogue. She painted our bedroom in black. It looked hideous. But when she decided to change our furniture for black furniture and she bought the black bed linen, I couldn’t take it more. I thank the Virgin of the Rosary for giving me strength to shout on my wife, in spite of being a very complaisant and calm husband who loves his wife very much. Fortunately, my wife understood that I didn’t like the “Dark” style. So now our bedroom is white again.

Praise the Lord Jesus!

The terrible tragedy happened the other night when Cutberto came home with the booze. He got me out the room and began to beat me insulting me. My daughter came over trying to defend me. Her father was going to beat her also. That moment I implored the Lord of the Column, and he didn’t hurt my daughter. A miracle happened on May 17, 1965.
