My parents forced me to marry a rich landowner whom I didn’t love. However on the day of the wedding, Jesus Lopez, whom I always loved, came back to the town. He abducted me right in front of the church and took me on his horse. I thank the Blessed Sacrament because we’ll be happy now.

I was being told by my friends that I’d be an old maid forever because I’m so fat. It saddened me, so I prayed to Saint Antony for a lover who’d love me for who I am. He fulfilled my wish, and now my Pepe makes me happy. He asked me for marriage with a serenade, and I thank for that.

Saint Sebastian, I offer you these flowers because you sent me Javier. He understood me when I was very sad. He gave me the satisfaction of succeeding with my beauty salon with his support and companionship.

When I married Gregorio I didn’t know that besides being a kind man and a great lover he’s also a wonderful cook. He cooks almost every day, and I enjoyed all the food. I give thanks to the Virgin of San Juan for such a joy and for sending me my husband.

Although I wasn’t beauty like my sisters, I married the handsome and kind man who loves me very much. All this thanks to the gift of cooking I had from Saint Paschal. So I always cook something delicious.

Armando thanks Saint Sebastian because Felipe returned to him asking to forgive him for having doubts and suspecting that he was cheating on him.

Maria Guadalupe and I loved each other, but her brother Poncho was against our relationships. Since he was a sorcerer, he came at nights as a furious nagual to separate us. Only thanks to the Virgin of Guadalupe’s help and her blessing, we managed to run away and get married in another town.
