A being from another galaxy painted the field and the cows. However, it didn’t hurt them. Thanks.

When I was coming back from the market I saw two dogs cornered two cats in an alley. The dogs were barking and grunting ferociously. The poor cats had no way to run. I came quickly, grab the cats and ran away. The dogs went after us, but thanks to Saint Quiteria I was able to run into the church before we were attacked. With the saint’s help I saved the cats, and I dedicate her this retablo.

My husband couldn’t perform in bed. Preoccupied, we asked Saint James the Apostle for a solution. We decided to try the medicine called viagra. It worked. Now we’re very happy and very much in love like when we were young. We thank for that.

Holy Child of Atocha, I thank you for your favors. I was sleeping when suddenly felt something hit me. I tried to stand up but I couldn’t. The I was hit in the head and I lost conscience. Turned out it was a crane working those days, and it stroke my wall making it collapsed on me.

My son Ricardo Antonio was swinging his sister very hard. My nephew Juanito was playing ball with the dog and didn’t notice how he got on the swing’s way. The swing hit him in the head, and he lost conscience. I was scared that he might die and his mother would accuse me of that. I entrusted him to the Holy Child the Savior. Juanito recovered and the only thing he got was a lump on his forehead.

I was in my bed with a light fever. Suddenly I saw skeletons around me. They began to perform a complex choreography and asked me to join their absurd dance. I prayed the Virgin of Guadalupe so she would save me from dancing skeletons and would drive them away. I closed my eyes for a moment, and when I opened them turned out that the Virgin worked the miracle. I was in my bed feeling much better, and my illness was gone.

It was very hot so the Parra sisters went to the river for swimming. They were happily splashing around when they noticed that they were surrounded by crocodiles. Only thanks to the Virgin of Zapopan’s protection they managed to escape from the water without being bitten by the horrible animals. They thank for that with this retablo.

When we were coming back from the evening mass we met a carriage with two skeletons in it. We thank the Virgin of Guadalupe for they didn’t notice us and continued their ride in the darkness. We came home safe and sound.
