I married my beloved Aurelio and right after the wedding we went to his town on his horse. I loved him very much. Nevertheless, I was sad to leave my home town and my family. But then I saw my dog Canelo following us. I thank the Virgin of Guadalupe for this miracle because when I saw the dog I could tie my old and my new lives together for a moment.

I have no home. And the Virgin looks after my stuff since I’m living on the street. Thanks.

Virgin of the Solitude, I thank you for giving me courage to deal with all sort of clients working here in “The Hell” as a whore.

My husband Juan began walking at his sleep. I couldn’t sleep because I went after him and looked so that the dogs wouldn’t bite him because they growled and barked at him. My husband kept walking and even got to the railroad. I was scared that he might be hit by a train. I thank the Holy Child of Atocha because thanks to his miracle my husband doesn’t go outside anymore and walks around the bedroom.

My son Doroteo and some his friends decided to bullfight an angry bull at the don Julio’s ranch. But the animal knocked my son down and was going to kill him when thank to the Virgin of San Juan’s intervention one of the workers caught the bull with a lasso and kept it for a while. I offer the retablo for this miracle.

Petra Sanches was making a mole on her kitchen and in the moment when she was grinding chili pepper she accidentally caught her tit in the mortar. She bruised it badly. Since no remedy helped her she called Saint Paschal and got cured. She gives thanks for this.

When I got heavily drunk, I thought I was dancing with the she-skeleton. And my family, I absolutely forgot about them because of the vice. Then I prayed to Our Lord Jesus Christ so he would save me from the vice. Thanks to Our Lord I stopped drinking.

One night I camped in the mountains. I made a fire to keep it warm and to keep the wolves away and went to sleep. But when the fire got out the wolves came closer. I woke up because they were grunting near me. I was scared, and I entrusted myself to the Blessed Sacrament asking for help. Then a marvelous miracle happened. A circle of light surrounded me. When one wolf tried to enter inside the circle, it howled from a terrible pain and ran away. It scared the others wolves away. They left me in peace, and I thank for that miracle.

My friends used to criticize me for my husband was a lazybones hippy, who on top on everything painted our living-room in outlandish colors and patterns he used in his paintings. I was dying of embarrassment every time we received guests in our house. But one day one of my friends brought a rich lady to our house. And she fell in love with my husband’s paintings. She ordered him to paint and decorate her own house. So now my husband has become a great interior decorator. They write about him in the magazines. And my friends are all jealous now. I thank the Virgin of Zapopan for my husband’s talent.

I was preparing a marvelous dinner for special guests when I noticed that my dog, who decided that he was a special guest, got at the table and served himself the chicken. I thank Saint Paschal Baylon because with his inspiration I managed to improvise another main course that turned out to be even more delicious than the chicken and the guests complimented me.

Exactly that moment when Jorge Moreno was going to propose to his girlfriend he was hit by a Coca-Cola truck. His girlfriend Juanita thanks the Virgin of San Juan because her future husband didn’t die and yet he proposed to her in the hospital right after his broken leg was put in plaster.
