My wife and I thank Saint Victor with the present retablo because we were able to buy a big and very private house since we enjoy to walk around the house naked all the time. We were renting a small house before, and it was hard to be naked because our neighbors lived very close.

My husband is very boring and conservative when it comes to love. He doesn’t satisfy me as I want. So when he goes in business trips I invite a young handsome neighbor to our house. I thank Saint Barbara for my husband hasn’t found out about my infidelity since I only do this because of my woman needs.

Every time when it was raining my wife put all the animals inside the house so they wouldn’t wet and sick. Then my wife went to sleep peacefully, and I couldn’t close my eyes. I was afraid that an egg might fall on my head or the pig would start licking my face. I thank the Virgin of Zapopan because we finally saved enough money to build a shed and a henhouse. Now the animals sleep there without getting wet, and I don’t have them around my bed.

Señora Alicia Vasquez used to have a dream about her late husband’s skeleton who came back from the dead and licked her feet. She thanks Saint Elias with the present retablo for delivering her from these nightmares.

Alfonso Gonzales went to trim trees at the house of his master and found out that the master’s wife was putting horns on him. He informed the master right away. He thanks Saint Jude Thaddeus for a nice remuneration he received for tipping off.

Since I didn’t know how to cook my dishes always turned out horrible. I was in despair and asked Saint Paschal Baylon for help. Little by little my cooking skills were improving. Now my husband is very much satisfied with my food and even has bought me new pans and pots. I give thanks for that.

I’m a terrible cook. That’s why my mama used to say I’d never get married. But thanks to Saint Paschal I found a husband who cooks marvelously. He adores cooking, and it is his passion. He prepares delicious dishes for me and our kids. I thank Saint Paschal, the patron of cooks.

My wife Rosario had the sin of playing cards. She used to go to play to the Lopez every Tuesday and Thursday. And by Mondays and Fridays her friends came to play at our house. She didn’t pay any attention to me and our baby. I thank the Virgin for curing my wife from this bad habit.

When my husband got very ill and I didn’t know where to find money to take him to the hospital, the Virgin of Guadalupe gave me the inspiration to cut all the flowers in my garden and go sell them at the tianguis market. I sold them all and look my Juan to the doctor, and he was cured promptly.
