We dedicate this retablo to the Blessed Soul of the Purgatory because we recovered from sunburn that we got five years ago on our last vacations on the Gulf of Mexico.

I’m grateful to the Virgin of Guadalupe because my arm is alright now. El Santo took me in the clutch twisting my arm, and I couldn’t move it for three months. I asked for your help. I can move my arm now, so I’m back to wrestle.

The night of October 23, 1957, the Romero brothers were coming back home after having drunk in the town. They met a nagual. They thank the Virgin for they didn’t die of fear and the nagual didn’t attack them and let them go.

Some rabbits came to eat the vegetables in my vegetable garden. I prayed to Saint Francis, and he granted me with a gift of communication with them. So I started to negotiate with the rabbits. I promised them to give them rotten vegetables, if they stop ravaging my garden. So now I have my own rabbit farm. They listen to me, I feed them, and everybody’s happy. I thank for that.

We thank the Virgin of Zapopan for the opportunity to see such a marvelous sight, when the good souls were flying to the sky, shining bright in the moonlight.

Since all my friends in the town had already got married, I thought of myself as an old maid. So I agreed to marry Rogelio Rios. He was ugly and corny, but he was the only one who asked for my hand. But on the day of the wedding I realized what a stupid thing I was going to do marrying the man I didn’t love at all. I ran out of the church and went to the capital in my wedding dress. I stayed with my friend Flora. Now I’m really happy and I have a good job. I thank the Virgin of the Rosary.

The Night of the Dead I was walking down the street. To my surprise, near the bar I bumped into a group of skeletons. They had a party and they invited me to join in. I prayed to Saint Jude for protection. The skeletons disappeared, and I went my way. I offer the retablo for this.
