Margarita Segura was a very depressive girl. So when she saw that her fiancé didn’t arrive on the day of the wedding, she ran and threw herself to the lake, from which she was saved by a fisherman, thanks to the Virgin of the Rosary. Afterwards, she found out that her fiancé didn’t mean to leave her, but had some serious troubles and couldn’t arrive in time. She thanks the Virgin for being saved for her own happiness.

On the night of November 2, 1982, my girlfriend Lupita and I went to a date to the cemetery, because my mother-in-law didn’t permit to Lupita to have suitors. We were alone chatting, when suddenly some skeletons appeared. They were dancing and playing some instruments. We got scared and promised not to come to the cemetery ever again. Thanks to the Virgin of Guadalupe we didn’t get sick and we even get married. So now we’re happy.

I was very fat, and my cousins kept telling me that I wouldn’t get married with such weight. But I didn’t lose my faith in the Holy Virgin, and thanks to her one of the most handsome guys fell in love with me, and I with him. After beautiful engagement, we got married. He thinks I’m the most beautiful woman in the whole world. We are very happy together, and a lot of love even helped me to lose some weight, but it really doesn’t matter to him.

I thank the Virgin of Guadalupe because I met a very cheerful man to get married. I was looking for someone like him, because I didn’t want my wedding to be boring. And my Miguel is very funny and he’s a good dancer. At the wedding we danced until we dropped, exhausted. I offer this retablo thanking, because he is an almost perfect husband.

We thank Saint Anthony because we have got married after many difficulties. Our wedding was very beautiful and the saint blessed our marriage.

I dedicate this retablo to the Virgin of San Juan for helping me to come back from USA with some dollars, so I could get married and buy my truck and work on my land.

The Garza Garcia girls were becoming old maids. Marta and Luisa were about 30, and Rosa was going to be 31. They were so distressed, so they prayed to Saint Anthony. They prayed novena to get married. Saint Anthony heard their prayer and worked a miracle, so all three of them got married.

A crazy woman, who kept saying she loved me, attacked me and Lucia on the day of our wedding. She arrived and wanted to kill me, but thanks to the Holy Spirit she was stopped in time. My Lucia had only some scratches and fainted out of fear.

With great joy, I give thanks to God and the Virgin of Guadalupe for such a big favor. I thought I’d never get married because my best years were behind me. But one day my boyfriend, who went in USA few years ago, returned. He proposed me, and I gladly accepted his proposal, because he is the love of my life. He organized a very cute wedding for me.

The day, when I was going to marry Alonso, a lightning suddenly struck the church. It was strange, because it didn’t rain. We postponed the wedding, and then I found out that Alonso was already married. And the lightning was the Virgin of Guadalupe’s warning so that I wouldn’t marry him.

Graciela Cervantes thanks the Virgin of Help because after 10 years of relationships her boyfriend Arturo finally proposed to her on her birthday, April, 16.

At the day of the Mariana’s wedding her fiancé didn’t come to the church, because he decided no to get married. Furious, she ran to the cape and threw herself into the sea. However, after the contact with the water, she came to her senses and she didn’t want to die anymore. But her dress got wet and heavy. It was difficult to go up, and St. Barbara came to help her. A current took Mariana and brought her up to the surface. She managed to get to the beach. She thanks for this miracle and promises not to do stupid things again, because no man is worth it.
