I thank Saint Francis for giving my daughter the ability to communicate with birds. It’s amazing to see how the birds seek her and sit on her shoulders or in her hands or tangle in her hair, and she joins their twittering, and all together they make a harmonious symphony of friendship.

Saint Jude Thaddeus, thank you for having a happy home and a nice partner. I used to live with a partner who was putting horns on me and didn’t help me at all. However, it’s all different with Adrian. When he comes from work—he returns earlier than me—he does cooking and cleaning. I’m so in love with him for that, and he’s also very sweet and loving with me.

When I was returning after having coated my brother-in-law’s house and with few drinks inside, the fucking devil appeared to me. I ran so fast out of there that I even sobered up. I asked the Holy Lord of Chalma to look after me and deliver me from the evil. Now I’m thanking and promise not to use an expression “Devil fucks your mother” ever again.

It happened in Morelia, Michoacan. When señora Ramira Lopez got out of the tram, her dress was stuck. When she was being dragged, she implored the Virgin of San Juan, and got out safely, having only her calf hurt. For such a miracle she gives infinite thanks.

I give due thanks to Saint Anthony of Padua because Romualdo Reyes, the most handsome young man in the town, payed attention to me and asked my father for my hand in marriage. Despite my neighbors’ jealousy, our love will be growing more and more for which I dedicate this exvoto, with all my heart.

My husband liked to eat in bed while watching TV. It bothered me a lot because he left crumbs and left-overs on the sheets. One warm night we left the window open and a lot of squirrels came to our room. They started to eat the left-overs. I was nervous and began to scream like crazy. My husband chased the squirrels away and closed the window. I thank the Virgin of Zapopan because my husband stopped eating in bed after that. And now is very comfortable to sleep without crumbs.

Maria Antonieta Garcia earns her living by selling her body at the streets of the Mexico City in order to support her children since she was left by her husband. She asks the Holy Heart of Jesus to look after and protect her in this miserable but honest job she’s destined to.

Do not let this happen again, for the good of humanity.

Virgin of Guadalupe, I’m giving you thanks for the miracle tat on that sad day of September 11, when the evil Osama bin Laden attacked the twin towers in New York, I could escape and saved my life.

Señora Delfina infinitely thanks the Virgin of San Juan for granting her son Jesus healing from a severe pneumonia he caught while searching his little cow that got scared of lightnings during a thunderstorm, ran out of the corral and hid in a cave.

The other night my friend and I went to the bar to drink some tequilas. But we lost control, and after a while got so drunk and sentimental talking about our fails in love that when we realized what was going on we were pretty close to each another and ready to kiss. We thank the Lord of Chalma for we have our conscience back and didn’t do it. We remain being friends as usual.
